Technically it can be but you would need to go to the B550 Support page on Gigabyte not the B450 page shown and linked. The B550 also has a revision version so keep that in mind when searching on their website.

@@rohidkhenglawt The B550 DS3H AC comes in several revisions, its important to make sure you select the correct revision for your board. The box will list the revision number. If you do not have the box the bottom left corner of the board near the HD Audio header will generally list the board revision number such as REV. 1.5 The Gigabyte B550 DS3H AC comes in the following revisions: 1.0 1.1 1.2 1.3 and then 1.4 and 1.7

@@LoneWolf1985BK most B550 boards do not seem to be impacted. Mostly I've only seen the problem with this B450

@empowergamingcomputers ryzen 5 1600, b450 ds3h wifi, gigabyte Vega 56 8gb, 700w psu, ID cooling se 214-xt argb, aqua 3 mini case which is amazing actually.. comes with a rbg hub, 2x8ram warhawkrbg, 500crucial p3 500g, a 250g ssd with windows10 preinstalled they are cheaper for some reason. This my first computer build ever so it's fun. I'm wiring it right now. Something I noticed and that I found over whelming at first is the connecting power switches and stuff cause in the videos no one like does close up and it isn't like everything is the same on cases. So I'm sure I'll be more confident after a few builds. My next one I'll get a better GPU and cpu, but for performance to dollar I seen they perform really well compared to other, only worried about drivers working with warzone for Vega since no driver updates from vega56

@@6FAME6 I was going to do a review on that case. I built in it once before. All of the AMD Radeon cards are better performance to dollar. Its a solid choice!

@@diegoxd3583 at the time of making this video they were $29.99 I would recommend the Thermalright 3 Pack over these which are cheaper and are PWM. They are available on Amazon.

I have ran into more issues with the higher end AMD CPU's and Motherboards lately. Intel mostly solid until the 14900K or 13900K gets degraded then its an RMA request.. lots of fun either way you go.

Well on tonight's build stream we will see if it happens again with another build that will have the same CPU, Motherboard and Ram. I wouldn't say its ALL Ryzen 9 7950X3D's just my luck getting one of the badies that slipped through their (AMD's) quality control.

@@empowergamingcomputers Yeah sounds like there QC is slipping a bit, I wonder if the 7800X3D are having similar issues.

I wish I could say it was the AI, but the AI features are generally specifically built for. I think it's more likely the chip shortage caused a lot of shortcuts to be taken as the new ones were being made

Yeah, its a new platform so it will come with new issues but shouldn't be dead/bad out of the box. What I am more concerned about is how a CPU so blatantly bad can get past the quality checks on AMD's end or how Intel knows about issues before its release and continues with a release thinking we are all just dumb.

This is what I was leaning towards also. Either that or just quality is not like it used to be.

@@Arexiox The WiFi card on that board is the Realtek® Wi-Fi RTL8821CE you can download the drivers directly from Realtek here: www.realtek.com/Download/List?cate_id=669&menu_id=297

It might be the distance from the Router providing the WiFi maybe you do not have the antenna's plugged into the back of the motherboard.

I've not seen that issue before, but it might be damaged antennas or a bad connection from the wifi card on the board to the screws on the back of the board. I would do a ping test with the antenna on and off and compare.

Sounds like you will need to download those to a flash drive on another PC and then install them from the flash drive.

which version of the board is it? (it matters because there is different wireless hardware depending on the MB version) Z790 AORUS PRO X 1.0 or 1.1 or 1.2

@@tim3921 we personally have never had any issues with bent pins. But will report if it does happen.

@@xavier8955 i just went to gigabytes site and downloaded the latest drivers while i was connected via ethernet. I let windows do all its updates, allowed the chipset driver and bios to update and restart and then i was getting ready to install the gpu software and something in me told me “unplug the ethernet to see if i have to follow the steps in the vid”. Did so and didn’t even have to follow the steps in the video

I would try and uninstall the current drivers and download/install latest drivers. If that still doesn't work it might be a compatibility issue with the wifi network and the Wi-Fi card, just a thought.

I did that but it was Intel drivers since it says the wifi card is Intel (the one on this same motherboard, B450M). Also, seems unlikely the card would be incompatible with every network around. Thanks, though!

​@@federom2012i would test with a USB wireless device to see if that works. It sounds like the wifi device might have issues.

Yes, if you do not use the antennas the signal will be poor for both Wifi and Bluetooth.

Do you have your wifi antennas on or off?

@@empowergamingcomputers Hello thank you for fast reply, i have my antennaes on my motherboard. I just got fixed my options on my network adapter was "disconnects wifi to save power "lol I got it unchecked it now.

@@bryanesquillo4619 Ah yes, sometimes Windows will cause these issues with these default settings.

You would need another computer to download to a thumb drive or plug the device into an ethernet connection if you have a wired option available.

Yes, the Wifi will show up without the antennas. Your wifi or Bluetooth signal will be weak without them.

@Joshua sorry missed this comment. I don't think there is a way to increase the led speed unless you try a hardware controller which might be able to influence the speed

You can pull off a 4090 build for around 3500 yes

there are alternative brands out there for cheaper prices, you wont have access to the fancy Lconnect3 modes offered by Lian Li though.

You can try to use the Gigabyte Control Center to get it installed.
