With a little bit of basic math you can make your own. 25/2 = 12.5 12.5/2 = 6.25 From there just do a 1 inch cut to figure out how many inches you need for your preferred clay weight. The first 2 minutes I briefly discuss the Honeysuckles and Badges Open House in Jonesville LA, where I set up and sold pieces on March 23, 2024. The rest of the video I use my Coral Reef glaze combo on a very large planter I recently made on the pottery wheel. This piece will have a water saucer for drainage, and rope handles for more smooth transporting it once filled with soil.

I've had a large amount of dried clay trimmings and to clean up my studio a little I like to go ahead and slip cast. I mix small bits of dry clay with water and Darvan (defloculant) in order to reduce the plasticity of my throwing clay and convert it into a casting slip. This does take time however. Thank you! Do you do anything special to make sure the two strands of coil in the handle don’t crack/separate?
In my experience its very rare that they crack and as long as i get them braided together nice and snug they won't separate. Lastly i blend the areas where they connect to the pot. In my mind this gives them an even stronger bond where they meet. I've also never had them separate from the pot after firing.
I just wasted 2:38 of my time 😵💫
