A note from the band
Nomads is an amalgamation of our experiences and struggles in life. In our heads the track is essentially a timeline of ups and downs and ends on absolute uncertainty. What started off as a jam room piece sometime in 2016-17, was resurrected after a year and a half when we decided to restart writing for the album in December 2018. Mid 2019, we recorded a demo for Nomads and started rehearsing it along with the rest of our live set. Between December ’19 and February ’20 we played the song at 5 different shows in 4 cities with our friend Ashish Ambhore on the Bass. These were some of the best shows of our lives! Fortunately, for us, some kind friends decided to shoot bits of our set at Pinecone Live in Pune, our first hometown show in over 3 years.
Cut to covid- amidst boredom in isolation, during the first wave, we did some overdubs and put a live video together with whatever footage we had.
For the next 2 and half years we decided to focus more on work and left this as a private video on youtube.
And well, here we are, once again, at it. We hope you have a good time listening to Nomads.
