@@Fannigum if it was like that, it would've been like "Im you... but actually better" If you are far he might use an semi-auto weapon or an explosive. If you are medium-range he will use an automatic weapon. If you are close he might use a shotgun. And he will always try to dodge your bullets by moving quickly.

@@DIAMOND____ That would be a good idea if there's lore that explains how the red mask can store all those weapons in his suit, otherwise, the arena can be filled with said weapons occassionally mid battle, as if something's throwing them.

Fron what little ive pieced together fron lore pages, It seems to be less the mask being passed on and more the mask picking another person to appear to, someone with a loved one who the mask then takes as more or less a hostage to "Motivate" that person to fight through the manor. The mask has some sort of grudge against the manor, so the mask is trying to kill it but needs someone to do it. A note mentioned that the mask doesn't directly control the wearer despite granting them powers, which is why it """"motivates"""" the wearer by kidnapping their loved ones and telling them to kill the manor to get it back Considering the ending has our charcter keeping the mask, perhaps it means that since we killed the manor finally, the mask's grudge is fulfilled and it no longer seeks out new victims to throw at the manor

@@smokiss7 Thanks for the info. Actually, I discovered how aside from what you suggested. I only buy a few cloaks and spells, ones that are really awesome (for example, the Moskillto, Eyeseeyou, Voracious Bite, and Soul Razor) to increase the frequency of getting them when I break a stele, or when I open a secret passage, where I can get Legendary cloaks and spells (the orange ones). After beating Brad, I chose not to buy the Boulderain spell because I just don't like it. But after a few more plays, I chose to buy it, and then that's how I start to encounter Barnaby Proudfoot, just buying the Boulderain. Now, I keep on wondering how to move on with Quinn's "quest," where I'm still stuck with her backpack, where she talks with Jerry (or Harriet, I guess...), and she was told that it was just left in the Break Room, not in the Archives where Jocelyn scares her.
