1990 Toyota 2wd dually swap
I always wanted to do this swap and dreamt of owning a Toyota motor home for the swap and a couple years ago I finally bought one just to sit in my yard and my wife begging me to get rid of it. I finally started the project and it’s about halfway there so join me for the rest of the project.

91 Toyota Land Cruiser 3fe new fuel pressure regulator and fuel damper!
มุมมอง 1.3Kปีที่แล้ว
91 Toyota Land Cruiser fuel pressure regulator and fuel damper removal and new install. Little hack to remove the fuel damper in that tight spot. Read forums of people having the same issue I was having (rough idle, no power, bad fuel mileage) and seen them replace these parts with good outcome. Unfortunately for me it didn’t seem to help me.

94 Toyota Camry xle with the 2.2l 5sfe, blown rear bulb light indicator has been on and In this video I troubleshoot to find the problem. I change bulbs to clean plugs and nothing worked, come to find out it’s the lamp failure sensor located in the trunk!

    Hi mate 👋🏾 i need new injectors for my FJ80 1992 3FE, does anyone have a link? A bit confused as to which injectors exactly are compatible

  • @devilmecare
    @devilmecare 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

    You can open the yellow sensor plastic box with a small slotted screw driver. Be careful not to break the plastic. The PC board has components and a connector on it. Check to see if a capacitor is blown. If you can solder you can fix it. My 93 Toyota Camry was doing the same thing.

    Did you notice better fuel economy or any other noticeable difference in power after cleaned injectors and cleaned the intake

    • @2byoda
      @2byoda 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Oh yes absolutely! Fuel economy and power was the main difference, they don’t get that great of fuel mileage to begin with but it definitely improved the fuel and big difference In power. It had trouble pulling my boat before it was embarrassing really. But once I cleaned them out I had no problem.

      Unfortunately I had to sell the old Land Cruiser. I really couldn’t afford it lol. It had other problems that I couldn’t deal with. But I do miss it.

    Hi how are you? Nice video, where did you buy the kit

    • @2byoda
      @2byoda 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Sorry for late reply, I bought the kit off of eBay www.ebay.com/itm/254524879673?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=_8-qSk5qSlG&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=3AyB4fMdTLm&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY . That’s the link to the parts, and the cups I had to buy at my local Toyota dealer.

    I had a 93 Camry and miss those loud 6x9 speakers on the back shelf. The 98 Camry and 98 Avalon I later owned only had 6' speakers in the doors and didn't sound anywhere near as good as that 93 did.

      @@2byoda I was lucky when I found my the owner worked for ARB and tricked it out. Run a compression check before you do any thing else, I've seen 100x before, where the owners say: ut needs a tuneup, carb and or sensors too.

    I also have a ‘91 LC and listening to your engine run I can say there are a few things to check. Have you looked for any exhaust leaks and when was the last time the valves were adjusted?

    • @2byoda
      @2byoda ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes there definitely is an exhaust leak and valve need to be adjusted but I haven’t got there yet.

    I'm guessing that Denso damper is rebuildable. That would explain the screw.

    There’s 2 drain holes in the front corners of the sun roof well. Open the sun roof, stand up inside the truck out the sunroof and get a straightened coat hanger and run it back and forth down the 2 drain holes. I have to do it a couple times a year.

    Check the throttle position sensor, when that's out it will never run properly, very important on Toyota's. It will cause poor running and poor shifting

    • @2byoda

    I would start with all fluids… differential/transfer case oils, engine oil, transmission, radiator fluid.

    • @Sticky745
      @Sticky745 ปีที่แล้ว

      Then move on to spark plugs and checking all the hoses for air leaks

      Also check your throttle cable, it might just need an adjustment. Plenty of tips on how to do that in IH8MUD
