ESCO Dispatch are you a fire fighter? I have a friend who is a firefighter, but he retired. He never told me about station tones. I never knew that the lights stayed on for 85 seconds.
That’s interesting to see the lights of different color go on when calls come in. I listen to police scanners and my late great uncle from Kentucky was a volunteer firefighter and he had scanners and radios in his vehicles so I’m familiar with the tones. But never seen what really happens inside a fire station when there’s a call.
That’s actually a pretty cool set up. Our station needs something like this. They’ve talked about it but nothing ever got done. How would you install something like this? We currently have nothing in our station.
Even though this was a test, I just feel bad for any firefighter that had a pager programmed to those tones. They set the tones off 3 times, which means any pager programmed to those tones went off 3 separate times. Hopefully they did that during the day 😂
What the name of this lighted multi-color system and company that makes it? does it work with digital signal, we switch from analog to digital signals.
Voice call, lights, buzzer then dispatch print out for my house. Meanwhile you get bunker on fire up engine etc, run without running. Every time I love it. Best job in the world, only job!!!
When I first joined the Service, it was bells, very large bells, very noisy bells! Changed to tones on speakers through out the station and message on the printer. Tones were loud but bearable, also all station lights internal & external would come on.. Worked every time!!
Spaceship Aliens sound 1:09
This what i expect at every fire station
Sound effects 0:20 number one 1:09 number two 1:54 number three Which one is scarier
Number one, because it’s what we have as our medical tone and it wakes me up all hours of the night 😂
With those kind of Lights the fire department will know which calls are going out Red: fire Blue: medical Green: other calls
what kind of tone box is that with the bell ringing and the tone noise

Yeah our alert system is just a loud warbling and then coded light beams and led lights
Our system is voiced by Samuel L Jackson. "Get up MThufkas! Shi need done!"
I’m trying to find the one my dad’s station uses so I can wake him up with it I like to watch the world burn
Lonn
I wonder how many times the pagers went off for this demonstration 🤔
That medical alert sound is scary

0:32 OREGON!
Who's system is this?
The G2 system is also nice, like the soft tones. Much easier on the system at night.

In are station the bell goes off and all the lights turn off as well as the stove, microwave etc
What type of lamps are they
I love the tone
Lovely buzzer and bell noises!
Bells and klaxons? Seriously? That takes 18 minutes off your life every time it startles you.
us wildland firefighters just get a phone call... nothing fancy like this
But the blue light looks awesome and sounds to from it
Red blue green
So green would be for like.. HazMat or Swiftwater/Technical Rescues, I assume.
Princess Lemmy yeah, and MVA's (car crashes). unless if this department counts those as medical
ear rape.
