Its almost the end of the year. It has been. One very hard year. I have lost many friends. Drugs. One to a motorcycle accident at 19. Good kid had his life taken too early after he escaped an abusive home. Another to a seizure that they refused to have him move bases to be treated. He and i lived the same medical nightmare. His seizure in the end killed him 9 months after gis first in january. He was supposed to be fixed My nightmare is almost over come june. After 3 years at kunsan my nightmare will end peacefully. I just wish he could have seen his end. Im tired of losing friends family and others. May 2025 be a ywar of growth and hope.

I started playing Halo well into the 2000s, so 2008-2009, started with Co-Oping Halo CE, 2, and 3 on my neighbors' Xboxs and got through them and enjoying them a lot. Sadly my parents didn't understand english apparently and they'd only get me PlayStations instead of the Xboxs I wanted for the next 14 years. Later on in high school so 2017 I had made a friend who was also a Halo fan and we'd splitscreen the Halos nearly every day after school if our parents allowed it, solid fun. A couple years back though I was able to get an Xbox One and I've been playing MCC a whole lot and thoroughly enjoying the games again. I wasn't there for the midnight gamestop queues, the E3 conventions, the panels, but I was around to play the games with friends and that's enough.

Halo 3 really has that feeling of seeing a battle of two long time adversaries suddenly encountering a FAR scarier threat than both of them can handle and now both sides drop the grudges and try and stop this horrible thing from getting ANY FURTHER AT THE COST OF ANYTHING EVEN UP TO A WHOLE CITY OF PEOPLE

Its such a weird track for combat, nothing else in gaming that really trys that vibe for an action sequence, anf precisely why i think Martin O'Donnel is a seriously underrated Genius, when it comes to music. I'd love nothijg more to hear one more halo ost from him.
