@0ldmanstew thanks 🙏 I had a "stage 3" twin hybrid turbo 335i touring (2009) at over 500bhp on a standard gearbox with XHP gearbox map and I chose XHP because it also increases the line pressure which is electronically controlled within the transmission. This means under acceleration with higher than stock power, the internal clutches the transmission uses are less likely to slip and increase transmission wear/reduce life span long term. So In short it's a no brainer ✌🏻

@billsandhu2001 Not yet.... I'm planning on possibly doing a deep dive video on XHP at some point so will include my findings then, but my advice now would be .... first gear you should be shifting at 4500 rpm. 2nd gear should be 5500 and all other gears should be 6k 😁😈

@nigelday001 Thanks 😁 depending on how far you want to take it the answer is no extras, a stage 1 map should see you making around 300bhp and the XHP gearbox map would complement that nicely. You can then push onto a stage 2 with bolt ons like downpipe or sports cat if wanting more power, the b48 and b58 engines are very good at releasing more power while still being very reliable. And as for changing gears in manual just to hear the downshifts is something I'm already guilty of too 😂💥💥💥

@DawgNo1 😂😂😂 I want my subscribers to know that I'm listening and will give shout out now and then when comments have reflected direction of the channel, there's going to be some big changes coming over the next year with lots more content on the way. Defo think XHP is worth getting on your car as you say it can help keep your gearbox safe, especially when you getting toward the 500 - 600bhp 😈

@SarkoziBalazs-ft4fv As far as I'm aware all b58 engines share the same downpipe and are interchangeable, so a 140i will fit a 340i and so on, but to be sure I would get new and specified for a G series, in regards to what one is best that depends on if you want it to pass an MOT test or not if so go with a minimum 200 cell sports cat (more expensive) and if MOT is not an issue then a decat/downpipe 4.5 or 5 inch. 💥💥💥

@nought2sixty_0-60 Well I'm very impressed with XHP customer support, they got back to me straight away, not sure how to take the reply as it contradicts there website but I am happy with it all the same. Here is the reply. "You don't need to worry about the run-in period. The car will automatically adapt to your driving style, and you don't need to do anything else. " I think we can safely say it will learn we like to use WOT! Look forward to future content. Alan.

@alexbakermault4518 it was all done at the dealers including map etc, however if by any chance you can't find a dealer to do this anymore a valved exhaust like remus or miltek etc could be used with MHD tuning... they do an equivalent map with MHD to take it to exact same bhp and torque of the mppsk including the braps and burbles. @nought2sixty_0-60 I'm picking the car up tommorow and have found a couple of people selling the MPPSK. I'm just wondering if any dealers would still fit it and map it.

@shortyian1 it's not bad but I'm 5'11... as a test I put the drivers seat 3 clicks back and there's still enough room with a big child seat as good as an X3 I'd say but if you need even more room there's always the 540i touring but the 3 is a much better drivers car 👍🏻 I did take photos but unfortunately can't post them in the comments 🙄

The 2016 mini S has the same 2.0 B48 engine as all the BMWs so yes same in dash controls... recommend MG Flasher to get the most from the engine though stage 1 expect around 275bhp, and it's very similar as MHD so check out my videos on that too 👌🏻

Well, at least you know for next time, and we'll done for checking everything else.. its easy to miss lots when buying a car..... love a 335i, I had a beast of a 59 plate touring running over 500bhp 💥 was proper quick, had the birds diff and suspension too.. weapon of a car, I had a b48 engine car also and made some good gains, MG flasher is very similar to MHD like in my videos and you can expect about 275bhp stage 1 and 315bhp on a stage 2 😁💥💥💥

Factory open as far as I'm aware, (although I haven't checked) planning on getting a mperformance LSD and doing a install video next year 👀

@eddieobrien6960 Honestly... it handles it just fine, I would probably spend the money elsewhere tbh, a good valved exhaust(MPE) or similar would be my first recommendation, or lowering springs and a nice set of 19's. Highly recommend MHD for the tuning though and they normally do a discount for BLACK FRIDAY 😁

@davidamt5215 Thanks for watching 😁 The OPF/GPF are on later cars than mine, I believe 2018 onwards so I did not have one to remove. However if you want to go stage 2 or more, then this would have to be removed to do so as it restricts the exhaust flow. It's one of the reasons I wanted a pre 2018 car with the mppsk as it sounds better due to no GPF/OPF and so will yours once it's been removed. 👍🏻

Just a thought if you do go stage 2 it's worth getting a 200 cell race cat as depwnding in brand the car is still legal andhe will still past MOT and emmissions... mine just did 😁👌🏻

@bmw3series128 I haven't had the car on the dyno so don't know the BHP, but the main reason I'm doing the 0-60 mph on the various mods and stages is to get real world results for comparison. I'm looking to get hybrid turbo next so will see if I can beat the stage 2 + at this point the car will be on the dyno for the custom tune so will see the results and post a video 👍🏻

Yes that's right... there made for each other 👨‍❤️‍💋‍👨 Now you have a decat on the car you can go stage 2 on MHD, using higher octane pump fuel is best with this also. I know XHP has the 3 stages also so really depends on how hard you want the shift to be... running as a daily I'd say xhp stage 2 but I'm soon to drop a video that will run through XHP with my stage 2+ so be sure to check that out for full details then 👍🏻

@Pickett3000 with MHD you can change exhaust modes to each map . .. when I "opened the exhaust" it basically makes it a straight through with the Mppsk 👍🏻 and deristricts the flow.. hope that makes sense ✌🏻
