@error4724 no I was on a driving trip from UK through 9 countries in my wife's car, was epic and the roads abroad are amazing compared to here 👍🏻

The 2016 mini S has the same 2.0 B48 engine as all the BMWs so yes same in dash controls... recommend MG Flasher to get the most from the engine though stage 1 expect around 275bhp, and it's very similar as MHD so check out my videos on that too 👌🏻

Well, at least you know for next time, and we'll done for checking everything else.. its easy to miss lots when buying a car..... love a 335i, I had a beast of a 59 plate touring running over 500bhp 💥 was proper quick, had the birds diff and suspension too.. weapon of a car, I had a b48 engine car also and made some good gains, MG flasher is very similar to MHD like in my videos and you can expect about 275bhp stage 1 and 315bhp on a stage 2 😁💥💥💥

Factory open as far as I'm aware, (although I haven't checked) planning on getting a mperformance LSD and doing a install video next year 👀

@ @ nice one thanks for the reply! I’m picking up a 340i touring today and I’m thinking of probably taking it to stage 2/ stage 2+, I was just wondering if an LSD would be recommended at that power level or not

@eddieobrien6960 Honestly... it handles it just fine, I would probably spend the money elsewhere tbh, a good valved exhaust(MPE) or similar would be my first recommendation, or lowering springs and a nice set of 19's. Highly recommend MHD for the tuning though and they normally do a discount for BLACK FRIDAY 😁

@davidamt5215 Thanks for watching 😁 The OPF/GPF are on later cars than mine, I believe 2018 onwards so I did not have one to remove. However if you want to go stage 2 or more, then this would have to be removed to do so as it restricts the exhaust flow. It's one of the reasons I wanted a pre 2018 car with the mppsk as it sounds better due to no GPF/OPF and so will yours once it's been removed. 👍🏻

Just a thought if you do go stage 2 it's worth getting a 200 cell race cat as depwnding in brand the car is still legal andhe will still past MOT and emmissions... mine just did 😁👌🏻

@bmw3series128 I haven't had the car on the dyno so don't know the BHP, but the main reason I'm doing the 0-60 mph on the various mods and stages is to get real world results for comparison. I'm looking to get hybrid turbo next so will see if I can beat the stage 2 + at this point the car will be on the dyno for the custom tune so will see the results and post a video 👍🏻

Yes that's right... there made for each other 👨‍❤️‍💋‍👨 Now you have a decat on the car you can go stage 2 on MHD, using higher octane pump fuel is best with this also. I know XHP has the 3 stages also so really depends on how hard you want the shift to be... running as a daily I'd say xhp stage 2 but I'm soon to drop a video that will run through XHP with my stage 2+ so be sure to check that out for full details then 👍🏻

@Pickett3000 with MHD you can change exhaust modes to each map . .. when I "opened the exhaust" it basically makes it a straight through with the Mppsk 👍🏻 and deristricts the flow.. hope that makes sense ✌🏻

@alistairknight9883 sure it will help with buying any car, but these specific checks on a BMW could save you £££s leaks are a particular one that BMW suffer from over time due to the plastic parts used under the hood/bonnet, and comparing the Idrive records to the actual consumables is also BMW only, I hope in someway this video has given you something positive when looking for a new BMW, and if tuning your BMW is on the cards then check out some of my other videos 🤩

@hugolafhugolaf Thanks.. it is advised to disconnect the battery before you disconnect/re-connect any connectors etc... although I have done it countless times without doing so.... but that is a risk that you must way up for yourself 👍🏻

@Jirkawasscz Hiya, this is/was a optional purchase from a dealer. It is not only the exhaust but also a ECU map change done by BMW. Unfortunately I cannot find any part numbers for the 340i GT from there Parts Catalogue for the MPPSK. Another option would be to get a valved exhaust bacbox and then use MHD tune. @ertugrulbae46 depends what your looking for tbh, truthfully the mppsk sound better than the m3/m4 but remember they are very different cars if you want more racecar get a M4/M3 if you want more day to day usability and something different go mppsk... All are really great cars, I wanted a touring so the MPPSK was for me, and if you check out my MHD stage 1 and 2 tune videos you will see for a few hundred pounds it becomes a m3 0-60 beater

@EvlEgle I had a e91 335i stage 3 with 17t turbos... was getting 3.9s 0- 60s with it... wish I'd have started the channel then..... If anyone's interested in bringing there n54 on the channel I'd be happy to do something 😁🤩

@@nought2sixty_0-60 cool l have just gone stage 1 on m140 this week(Bm3) not done any dragy runs yet. Stock car did a 4.11 0-60 12.54 1/4 mile@111 mph so should get in the 3s just about.Those times are with a 1 foot roll out which is already applied to the race logic boxes l think.
