What is the deal with placing the sleeping bags next to the loot drops? Even if they contain something good they have to be able to get that loot out, right? What am I missing?

Where did you respawn when you ascended, on your bed? I heard youre meant to respawn naked and lose your stuff if its not in a dino so now im unsure.

Oh no those timers can really suck on Official servers, I recommend an Argent or Thorny if you don't want to build a Smithy

Seems like my alpha cave overseer is gamma, for whatever reason I only get gamma implant and achievement even though I'm doung the ultra hard Alpha version of the damn cave... Also paying all the Alpha tributes... any ideas what may be wrong? I did it twice in a single playthrough, so no saving/loading.... The first run was a no cheats run, the second I went commands all the way to make it faster...

Good video, I need to explore this cave some more. I usually just swim in and grab the artifact and leave. I just discovered that you can literally swim by everything if you just drink some cactus broth first. Except for the server I’m on at the moment, the cave of the brute is over spawning like crazy and there are swarms of like 60 megs at once. But if you haven’t tried cactus broth yet, try it, it made my life way easier in the under water world.

Whyyy didn't I find your content sooner! I'm an ark vet who begrudgingly watches low quality tutorials with people playing on random boosted settings who don't disclose them. And here I find you, end up watching a boss fight video and learn like 5 different things about ark I never knew while you do it the hard way on official like me. It got a annoying herding them all, and I had to use a tracker to go around and find a few of the lost ones as i was leaving. But I rode a Basilo in with a pack of 12 sharks in basic saddles. Like two of them took pretty heavy damage, but they all shredded everything in the cave while I sat back relaxing and watching it all.

Can't you shoot from Tapejara? I thought remembering being able to do that O.o Also, OVIRAPTOR! Is one I am missing =/ (Or am I just blind and never seen one?)

Honest question. In so twisted a cave, wouldn‘t be a good idea to put metal signs as directions? Is it even possible in vanilly - or does this require allowing building in the caves?

Your wolf could jump without needing any hook. Or a sabertooth. Jumping on the rightish side after the artefact. I’ve watched a total newbie do that, named “facecrit”, and yes, it works very easily.

Very helpful guide on how to do the Tek Cave and Overseer! I've never done the fight in ASE or ASA, but I've always wanted to try. I play by myself on my own dedicated server and have always been scared of botching trying to get everything through the door or having most of the dinos yeet themselves into the lava. I recently decided that I can back up the save right before putting the tributes in the terminal to take away enough pressure and stress to feel ok about giving it a go. I think I will go with your approach except I will also bring a small gang of nimble creatures like yutys and theris to follow the carchar on passive. If they die, they die, but if some live they will make the Overseer fight a bit shorter. I don't think I have the extraordinary patience you do. Haha! Anything that survives will help keep my fingers from being permanently cramped after the fight. As an aside, your carchar is absolutely beautiful! Wish I had a nicely coloured one. Mine are all snot green with orange dots and some sort of brownish beige belly. :(
