This is for those visiting Salem for the first time: I cant stress this enough research as much as possible before coming. What i mean is look into what and where you want to visit and where is good to eat otherwise it can be overwhelming. I suggest 3-5 days for Boston/Salem or 2-4 Salem stay it'll make the trip so much more enjoyable. Aim your trip around history, fun, pubs, food/sweets and supernatural/occult pick what's most important. The trolley will take you around Salem's heritage trail. There's 2 Salem's (original) Danvers and Salem town is current. Don't miss out. There are pop up shops and even a secret speak easy restaurant. Take your time for a half to full day just exploring and appreciating the trip. There's all kind of niche shops so just another reason to research. cry innocent and witch dungeon museum plus heritage walk tour will sum up most of the history. There's many pubs and restaurants that are awesome so get there early especially breakfast and dinner. If your visiting for mostly supernatural and history; make sure you do extra research you tube and Salem apps will help. There are many who practice and who don't and many people are the most friendly I've been on my trips and can guide you. Lastly be respectful to those around you and the areas you visit. People live at or near some of the locations. Be open minded, there's things just outside of Salem like a castle, mansion with life size chessboard, museums, even festivals like renaissance/pirate etc. whale/dolphin tours etc. Even times like 4th of July is a blast.

A few things that will save money and time in Salem. 1. trolley 2. book year in advance especially hotels 3. heritage trail 4. pick 2 main 3 at most walking/museum tours much are the same with a twist 5. research before you go (what do you want to do?) 6. ferry/uber will save you parking fees 7. visit during spring or summer Halloween is too busy. 8. fly book trip with flight/hotel few months ahead of time

17:55 as someone who is practicing Ancestral Veneration and magic, I agree from my personal experience that not all ancestors have your best interest. Say you want to communicate with them on magic, you have to be specific on who you are calling like “only ancestors that have my best interest at heart and support my paganism and magic.” Somewhere on the lines of where, because Ancestors are human spirits, they have particular interests and beliefs even in the afterlife. From my experience most of my strict Christian ancestors do not support me some tolerate and others do not agree at all what I am doing at times will make that clear. I call upon my ancient ancestors those who were pagan or witches or both, recent ancestors who were folk witches or closed pagans.

You made me think about tarot as more practical practice rather than spiritual. Definitely i think it's a blend of both, for myself i use it more spiritually to check where I'm, but also to ground myself in the everyday life. My thoughts on free will and do we choose our destiny, e.c. are that we mostly act on subconscious desires, we don't control (unless we are aware of them and still we are mistery to ourselves even) so our free will is more like conditioned. But we still expirience it as free will and that makes us functioning humans. The same way even if we chose our life and struggles, it doesn't matter because we don't remember this "soul contract" and we still expecting it as something new and people should still be held accountable for their evil acts and others who are victims still have rights to feel that way. I personally, believe there is some sort of karma and when harsh times happen i still let myself be human, feel all the emotions but i remember that that's my path and i have to walk it not like a victim to my circumstances. For the last topic about the balance of reality and spirituality . I totally agree with you . When i was younger i almost find myself in a state of psychosis because of all the out of touch with reality beliefs ( it kind of felt like dissociation or defense mechanism from the hardships of life) . Now im actually more grounded in reality and rather sceptical (in a healthy way i hope) . There is possibility in my mind for a lot of things but not hardcore beliefs . A lot of spiritual talkings i see as problematic as well. We need common sense even in spiritual practices . That was long but i really enjoyed your toughts so i shared mine.

Tarot is closed to me, im not allowed to read. Every time i ask she says fuqq no. Infact the last time i asked she gave me death and the 3 of swords when i asked it if it meant it. It was a fancy deck and it was a rabbit being stabbed. I took that as a dont even dare babe. Yes and up = even No and down = no Thats all i needed to know, i dont tarot the way others do and follow my own energy so to speak. I find this is how i connect with the spirit best.

I guess I am the odd one that only does tarot readings for myself about SPIRITUALITY and go to tarot readers about it (never gotten a reading thus far that has helped in that though) 🤣Everyone else asks about love, career and whatever else physical worldly matters, and I am just here like "so yeah, I just want to know how to heal my traumas, shadows, strengthen my psychic abilities, follow my life and soul purpose and become more in tune with the other realms, spirit team, subconscious, higher self, ancestors etc etc". The further you talk about it in the video, the more I do realize the wanting for practical solutions and it being grounded in reality that way 🤔 By the way, I really need to ask! What is your sun, moon and rising? 🥰You give heavy earthy energy with a hint of something else...air? Fire? Also, have you ever heard of Sidereal and draconic astrology? Do you resonate more with those if not the tropical? What is your opinion on the three?

How do you tell which deck you should pair with which specific crystal? 🤔Maybe I am making it more complicated than it has to be, lol, but is it as simple as say "your deck is cancer, so because their birthstone is a moonstone, that is the crystal you pair it with" Oh my god...I just had a realization upon writing this! 🤣I got a new deck recently "tarot of dragons" and when interviewing it, I was told my deck is the zodiac of cancer energy. Prior to this, I was trying to figure out what crystal to charge it with and I thought my clear quartz point is good, but I did put a moonstone on it too and thought "eh, why am I doing that? Like why a moonstone? I must be crazy, nah, lets just stick with the clear quartz" 🤦‍♀Want to hear the irony? Cancer is my sun sign (: How is this even possible?? I have no idea. Anyway, sorry for my rambling! I love watching your videos and the way you view tarot :) Giving each deck a crystal and zodiac sign association based on what their personalities are, it just feels so animistic and I am all here for it! Even if some may think these decks are just paper and art...to me it is so much more. Art is creativity. Creativity is magic. I ask my spirit team to communicate with me through the cards, and even so, I still see these decks as alive as crystals. Maybe that is weird, but that is how I feel. Like, I could NEVER throw a deck in the trash for an example. Even if I did not vibe with the deck, I could never. It would feel like utter blasphemy. It would feel like disrespecting something higher than myself.

Tarot deck buy/sell/trade groups on Facebook are a great way to buy secondhand! These days I actually prefer to buy decks from an individual, to keep the deck in use and save us each some money vs buying new. And even if they aren’t cheaper than new, if they are in good shape I still prefer buying secondhand, and many others in these groups feel the same. ❤

I think consumerism is a very ingrained motive in our society. But anything can be sustainable if you pay attention to your habits. I don't think buying and having different types of decks is necessarily bad. You can buy from small creators and if you use them it is ok. At the same time blaming a normal person for the environmental crisis is pathetic. The 1% richest are the ones wasting as much as the 60% poorest. So yeah. It is not our fault at all.

It's kind of funny you said you were picky about Oracle decks. I'm the opposite 🤔 like I have a bunch of oracle decks and significantly less tarot decks which I am very picky about. Kind of frustrating because it makes choosing a buddy deck for my tarot cards way harder 😂 I also have never heard of anyone using oracle and oracle deck together as buddies? Is that even possible or the right way to do it? Since Oracle decks aren't exactly like tarot. What's your take on that?

I find the meanings you find in cards incredibly interesting, because I, coming from a queer tarot backgroud, have completely different meaning for many cards. i really noticed it here with the ten of pentacles, cause that's a card I have a very strong connection with and is for me a card that is about being part of community. Firstly of the smallest unit of community, your found family, but also the bigger community and therefore belonging to something that's bigger than yourself. It's about the secruity and stability you get by having a found family and being part of a community and in turn helping others in your community and effecting positive change Leaving the world in a better state than you found it in, no matter how small your personal positive impact might have been, because we are not alone. Small changes by a lot of people can add up to make the life for the next generation so much easier.
