The trigger is already made. Its not a recall its a operator error....
I may be wrong but i think the sub 2ks that had that type of collar, had a recall because of catastrophic failure
I bought an 16" Anderson Utility for black friday door buster special. Loving it!!! Intention is to put a race gun together. EDIT: I should mention the Anderson stock trigger is pretty damn good for a stock trigger. They have worked the parts over and have a really nice finish on the surfaces that matter for a trigger. I cleaned it up the evening I got it, oiled it, cycled and worked everything for half an hour. Cleaned it up again and oiled it. Put some Magpul BUS's on and shot a few hundred rounds the next day. The Gen2 Pmags function well but won't drop free. The stock metal magazine works perfect. So next weekend I got 4 metal Duramags and they work smooth as butter. Next I pulled a Rise super sport trigger from another race gun I've used the past 8 years which is an Aero lower. The trigger well was tight and had to be filed just a scoche to allow it the cross pins to line up. No biggie. And last point of note is there is a bit of gas leakage from the gas block. Leaves black carbon on my wrist. So far around 1,000 rounds over a couple weekends and I begin the mods. Accuracy is excellent from the stock barrel. Decent groups at 100-yds and pings the steel consistently at 200-yds. I have since added the B5 P23 grip, Leapers UTG S2 stock, the Rise-140 flat face trigger, Battle Arms 45/90 lever, and Magpul BAD lever, and the older Gen 1 Vortex 3x Prism scope. I tried the A5 buffer system with 7-position buffer tube and the BCM Mod2 heavy buffer & spring. But those components added felt recoil and would push the sights up and right. However the A5 system on my older rifle had excellent results. The Anderson gas tube is about 1.5" shorter than my other rifle. So put the stock components back on and recoil is reduced with sights rising straight up about 12" over targets at 100-yds. So pretty good. Overall the Anderson rifle is solid, but I don't have a ton of experience other than my other Aero lower / BCM upper put together in 2016 for 3-gun.
@chrispearce9224 i have never had a full anderson rifle but I'm thinking of building one but just do some upgrades to the bolt and carrier for the money it's just hard to beet them when you start messing around you learn alot I love aero too but as far as lowers you just can't beat it for the price thx for watching my video trying to put together some more vids for yall
Had a bca full upper for a while now and on first inspection everything checks out. Just got my lower today and hoping to test it next weekend.
Bca uppers are bad ass
I would love to be able to reload my own shells i always keep my brass just in case i ever learn how to
@@michaelmaddox9913 I'm fixing to do a video on reloading break down the cost and everything
@@Stillkickin357 thank you
And I love that it's all made in one company in house that make all the parts for them . I will definitely be getting another one when I get the money to
@michaelmaddox9913 when I see them on sale i don't pass it up
I got the Anderson utility pro it is the best shooting AR I have had so far I've shot over 2000 rounds and not had one problem
Did you say you changed the grips? What kind are these you put on? Can you send the link please. Thanks
@richardturner8577 there just houge tauras 605 rubber grips
Love the video man, I carry a s&w 638 a good bit.
I appreciate buddy look out I'm fixing to do a 38 special reload video
Great, will subscribe, looking forward to it.
My kahr CM9 is my carry choice, over my P365, my Hellcat, anit it funny, when those two came out, everyone cried about wanting a larger version of them, makes no sense, if you feel unsafe with 6 rounds, wow , learn to shoot, the Kahrs do loosen up after many rounds, but , they wont rattle out of the box like a Taurus.
Totally agree I have a love hate relationship with kahrs I'm going to make a follow up video on the cm9 after some more range trips !
Nice 🎉🎉🎉
Like your father, my left hand went to hell, arthritis, old injuries, and I have a hard time even racking in a round, much less clear a jam. Time to sell, give it away. Other auto pistols, not an issue. Kahr's ----.
Thanks man, I recently picked one of these up, great little machine. I did feel a brass would be too much, only brass I use is a bore snake for the barrel. The frame and everything else, rem oil wipes and a micro fiber cloth.
the taurus j frame (85, 605, 856) revolvers are excellent sidearms, especially for newbies or a “one & done” piece. fills every role (bedside, camp, ccw, car trip) perfectly well for most law-abiding, normal, civilians. the only drawback is 38/357 ammo is more expensive than 380/9.
If you reload Uta like 9.00 a box of 50 but I know not everybody reloading
Just pulled the trigger on one of these, no pun intended. I noticed a trend of these going up in price little by little and after watching a lot of videos I bought it for what it is. It's not a collectible, it's not a precision gun, it's just a gun. Definitely feels good in the hand, you forget its on you from how light it is.
@FranciscoJavierOutdoors thx for watching my video I'm fixing to do one on the ultralite
I have the pre-covid Model 605, mat-black but I stripped it and gave it a high polishing, just replaced the grips this weekend, I bought the MBT Bold Pocket Grips through Amazon!
Agree! They are underrated. A lot of brand snobs out there that say otherwise.
Have one on an AR and cannot complain.
Yea for the money there great yea i would love to have a noveske but I ain't paying that much
How wide is it? Whole unit.
Little under a inch like .9
@Stillkickin357 really now? I'm thinking of mounting one to a beretta apx carry a1, which is .9 inches wide, so this could work!
@baen1466 i like the beretta apx really underrated gun
@Stillkickin357 full size didn't make it in the trials, but I think it was a solid contender.
I actually have one in my amazon cart just before seeing your vid. Have 5hought about removing my sites. Not a fan of em. New gen 3 does not come with them anyway. Also love your tape job. Cool
@mrgauth yea i removed my sight grinder it down blue it put back on
i wish they had an rmr verison
I totally agree
I just bought one because my eyes, and I haven't gotten it yet but that mount worries me some.
What worries you about the mount
@@Stillkickin357 Just looks weak when you don't have a solid base mount, and I've learn stuff like that cantilever mounts are easy to bend. I'm not going to throw it in a safe it will be beat to death a lot.
@JS-lv5pn seems really robust to me I don't baby my ar 15 I shoot alot I've drop mine but ip promise if it did they would get you a new one they good about that also it's compatible with acog mounts
@@Stillkickin357 Yeah I'm just going to order a mount, used to better made optics just trying to make it good as possible.
@JS-lv5pn man I promise ya it's bad ass especially when you have a stigmatism you can dial that thing in
Does it have audiable zero adjustments?
@Chanchezbawan not audible but tactile
@Stillkickin357 i have the gen 1 and it had none. Good to know that it atleast has tactile.
Fir the price you really can't beat it in my opinion with there warranty
@Stillkickin357 yeah im upgrading to the gen 2. Its 110 on the website for veterans day
I have one, it’s my daily carry! My only whine is that its satin coat stainless, wished it was polished smooth stainless!!!
Take some mag polish to it
New subscriber, this is the first revolver I purchased a while ago. Great gun for the price!!!! Great camping, fishing, hiking gun. I used to live in the northeast when I had purchased it and a lot of places I would fish and go hiking had black bears, bobcats and coyotes so it was always on my hip during those times. You can't go wrong getting one of these for the collection!!
Thx for watching video I'm fixing to do a review on a little kimber micro 9
It's really different horses for different courses. I use a 45, but I'm using a MPVO on a cantilever mount. The dot is at the very front of the receiver. If I had less angle the windage turret would block the dot. But I'm set up for a totally different use. This is for hunting and if I encounter a situation where I have a very close but very brief opportunity I can get a lethal shot in a second or two.
Yea i agree
Where did you buy it?
Don't really remember
has it been solid? thinking of getting one.
@antonsxca no problems holds zero ever range trip no screws came loose been a good optic so far
Great lowers @dariuskincaid has a video how to delete the logo I do it to all my Anderson I get on sale in bulk
U might want to add some shooting vid next time. Great review
@WhiskeyTangoFoxtrot14 yea I'm working on some shooting videos
@@WhiskeyTangoFoxtrot14 made a little shooting video for you
I got the 3x prism scope not the micro but it is sooooo much better on my eyes as I also have an astigmatism the glass is clear love it .
Yea it's a must for old eyes
Hey Boss, I really appreciate you taking the time to do this video and taking time out of your day to share the knowledge. My grandfather used to clean all his guns once a month even if he didn’t use them. I was just a kid and that’s one of the memories I have, thank you 🙏
Glad to help ya out I'm going to do so early more cleaning videos on some other guns too but I appreciate you watching glad you took the time to watch thx alot 👍
Hell yeah
I just ordered a 605 black matte, thank you for the great review. I’m going to get that hog grip as well. You should do a video on cleaning and maintenance. Very good points 🙌
Thx for watching my video look out for a video and I will do a cleaning video for you and some lube points
@@Stillkickin357 awesome , thank you my man 💪🙌
Check yalls trigger before you call your build good cause it didn't happen till I was at the range and this wasn't the first time I shot it !
You know I’m that guy…who would screw up the whole concept of bullet barrel matching thing…
I hear ya on that
was considering getting this thanks for your video im definitely keep this on the list
@Davidityourself yea i promise you can't go wrong watch one of micro prism video it would defintly be between that and lpvo
I've carried the G-23 for fifteen years and never once thought about carrying anything else. The primary reason for carrying the Glock is no matter what size/caliber Glock you pick up, the sight alignment/picture is identical.
I agree I reload so when I go too range I bring both calibers and practice with both
ive got the 1-10 and the 1-6 nova optics and theyre both great
Yea i want that new 1-10
Great optic! Just got mine last week and I love the practical features already: light weight, killer dot, clear glass, and it’s easy to shred when you need to.
@@IlmarBeekman yea it's bad ass
Great vid i have the same gun got it for 199 3 years ago....i just like the 45 acp....i have shot 600 rounds threw it no problems its my daily carry.....
Yea it's not bad gun it got alot of hate back in the day some was warranted but for the most part it's a good gun I wouldn't send mine in cause they want send it back
thanks for showing,,I just ordered 2 of these to mount my Lpvo.sure hope it works..
For the money I think there pretty good
I can vouch for the PA warranty. I had a screw strip out on the SLx 2.5x microprism - they sent me a new one. I got the PLxC 1-8 in Raptor yards first, decided I wanted MIL to match the MIL turrets, and they exchanged it, no questions asked. They’re a great company.
Yea they are bad ass
You think it will fit the Strike industries mount plate? thats what i’m trying to get bc i dont have my slide cut yet too expensive
If it's the cmore cut
Treehouse…
I have one of the second GEN SLX 1X scopes and a 3X scope. However, these 1X first generation scopes were priced so well I picked up a couple. I think I paid 150 for the first and only 110 for the very last one. Great scopes, love the etched reticles, eliminates my astigmatism problem, and the clearance prices are unbeatable. Love me some PA prism scopes 😄👍🏼
@@umat6991 yea I love them
Does that grip interfere with a speed loader?
@generayburn5078 no sir not at all
Hey man, if the G23 is good enough for John Wick, then it’s good enough for me haha!!
So you taking this over an mk18?
Chamber it in 300 blackout over 556 all day long
