excellent video, it would be interesting to also explain the phase function, it is very useful for understanding which equalizers, because some plugins create counter-phases on certain frequencies which can compromise the mixing

What design did you choose from the website? So many different styles and types?

I'm trying to do this but there is no gain option when I click on the region drop down. I have Mute, Loop, Flex and Follow - On. But there is no gain option. Any ideas how I can fix this?

I want to make pop punk style distorted guitar using Logic Pro X plugins. Would you have additional tips for that? Or would you just do the same tone as you did in this video?

For pity's sake, I don't mean to say that this video is not useful: the sound has definitely improved. But really I wonder if somebody who has played with an amplifier doesn't find these sounds as very very bad, mosquito-like. Have you ever had a guitar in your hand attached to an amplifier? And I say this as a GarageBand user trying to get a decent sound out of a guitar. I know Garageband is not Logic, but I watched precisely this video in the hope that it would show me that Logic can offer a better sound. So many videos like this and everyone is ecstatic about these sounds! Mah!

The key to this is using your close mics as much as possible and using the drum replacement as more the definition. Like snare/kick, I usually have the mic level and trigger level about equal, but EQ/compression wise I shape them different to compliment each other for more attack or dynamics, I dunno, forever learning.

What guitar were you using?

When i try to use this plug-in this is the massage i get UNEXPECTED BYPASS! Your DAW is preventing this plugin to work properly by suspending plugins processing. it may think there shouldn't be any audio through this track. (This can also happen when the bypass parameter shown by the DAW isn't tied to the one of the plugin) If possible, disable this feature in your DAW settings, or try to enable input monitoring on this track, or put a dummy tone generator in your chain... or anything else that will force your DAW to execute this track plugins. Note that with AUTO enabled, this plugin needs to find the order of execution of the instances. It is not possible in this state! If you change the order of the instances right now, they will probably end up inverted.

You recommend us using the BPM counter in Logic to calculate the BPM. Now why does the BPM counter ALWAYS give us half the tempo? In your video, you sure that 80.5BPM the counter gave you is correct? If you try using Smart Tempo to calculate it it will give you 161BPM. ....
