Royce had little to no screen time even though he was a part of Rhythm starting lineup. Xie Yuxin and Ayumu had minimal screentime in Roller Coaster. Yuito barely spoke??? At all??? In the show??? Until like, maybe episode 7??????) As much as I like Universe League, the flaws are really saddening. They only had 42 contestants! Bruh.

On&On could've been a great debut song. It's catchy, has something different to offer, great choreo, not overly crazy and highlights every member's vocals and performance skill sufficiently.

for a team with SO much popularity rhythm has so little to show for it. all its members are so popular and FOR WHAT. their stages are off-putting in a really weird way. apart from jl and maybe daisuke the rest of them are so awkward onstage

We have almost the same ranking except I will swtch the 2nd and 6th place. Team Beat deserved to win tho. Unfortunately, they only have Woongki and Kairi pulling the votes. Mostly Woongki. I think Team Groove should try a different concept just to showcase their versatility.

If there is one thing i hate about survaival show, it would be the live audience. They vote unfairly and when their fav. Debuts... they would hate them. The whole process is so toxic. And the sacrifice is those talented trainees who did their best😅

I think, all Chih En needed, especially in Rouller Coaster, is to smile. I don't think I've seen him smile diring that performance. So whenever he's in the center, and the other members are smiling behind him, he looks odd.

My opinion(Rhythm stan) here: 6. DHTB = Yes, many people don't like the song too but for people who like to hear rapping + catchy chorus or dark concept, this song is for you. I personally like the song and its MY SONG so its music preference. It's very performance wise, I like JL's high note in live ver more. JL, Steven stood out to me, nothing else. Also, I heard some people hate PAPERMAKER works? Is that true? 5. Butterfly = I love this song too its a beautiful and nostalgic, visual wise Seo Jeongwoo stood out to me then vocalwise its Park Han and nothing else. It's giving me JPOP vibes. 4. Roller Coaster = Many people don't like this song too, and I don't like it either when I listen to it for the 1st time but, this SONG grows to me ALOT! It's really cute and refreshing song, catchy that's why its easy to listen to. JL, Steven, Shuaibo, Chih en, Daisuke stood out to me esp Shuaibo's paper plane screentime was cut out due to giving respect to victims of airplane crash. 3. My,my,my = I don't like this song coz I don't prefer sexy concept / songs but their choreography is a top notch for me. Especially Kairi is on fire. Kairi, Cha Woongki stoodout for me. 2. Only You= I like the song too but this is a song that I can't repeat into maybe because I personally don't like their vocal tone except Park Han. Only Park Han, Kenta, Park Juwon stood out only to me. 1. On and On = My top 2 of my fav song, I agree that EL CAPITAN Is really genius. imo critizing rhythm bench for bad prouniciation when there's no koreans on the team is so stupid because if i went and criticized kenta (i think) for his pronounciation of "but, i'm dying to live" everyone would jump me because it's not his native language, so it feels like a double standard to me

I agree with the ranking 100% Don't get me wrong, over half of my starting lineup is team rhythm, but they just did not eat this time. Beat devoured tho! Kairi and Woongki slayed!

If I would pick my favorite: 1. Butterfly -- Just because the song has a nostalgic feel. Insane line distribution. No one is left behind. 2. My, My, My -- This is revolutionary. Cha Woongki doing the sexy concept is unexpected. Also, I like the intro and the choreo in the chorus. Kairi also blindfolding himself. I mean, he doesn't have to, but yes. I'm here for it! It's fire 🔥🔥🔥🔥 3. On&On -- Everyone here has to their time to shine. I think Yuito is the one that shocked me. He's got good expressions. 4. Only U- The intro and Han's smile. I feel the camera work and the production for this one are better compared to the other songs. 5. Rollercoaster -- Maybe because I prefer Zen Zen to be in this unit than Steven. 6. Don't Hit the Brakes -- Hmm, just the song overall. I don't vibe with it.

I think this episode overall wasnt that exciting...or maybe the Holiday special was just too fun that it made this episode a bit lackluster. At least Ive discovered the song Rollercoaster, regardless of their performance.

3:21 I just learned this recently but Jang Kyungho's group back in the day actually performed cute concepts so I'm not really surprise if he can do soft concepts well. The thing is...he looks so masculine now compared to when he was still in a group. Not saying thats bad after all, he grew so tall meaning idol training was actually stunting his growth back then which sounds bad on paper.

1:47 As for Daisuke, I actually think he has potential to fit the concept, its just his part was too short for me to really lean into it. It was like a flash and then he was never seen again lol I believe Daisuke can learn from JL in becoming an all-rounder. Too bad this is a competition, not a training center and knowing he comes from Japan, this might be his last chance doing something like this. After all, not all survival shows welcome someone who's not half-korean. I blame whoever distributed the lines. Notice how they didnt show who distrubuted the lines in this episode. They knew we would hate the distribution lol

1:21 I used to think Chih En absolutely has to debut but now Im thinking...maybe some people deserve it better.. still not sure..but bro...Let JL debut at least cuz from facial expression to versatility, he's a shapeshifter both in dance and vocals, cute, sexy or swag. He's basically textbook traditional idol. Sure he isnt the most impressive but he is stable, when they debut and get famous one day, they need someone as stable as JL to maintain performance level for the constant shows they will be attending.

I am a Groove fan, but I am sold with your opinion. I love both Groove stages, but I agree the Beat did a speldid job. I wont complain if they take the win in this round. The thought of Groove doing similar concepts is undeniable, but I do believe it's Changsub strategy. But hey, I wanna see Park Han diong something like his Siren performance. At this point, I just want him to debut.

Kyungho was in TO1, which occasionally did cute/bright concepts and he is actually pretty good at them

Hmmm. I have to agree that both of TR’s songs are BAD. They don’t really have the hook like the others. But I disagree with the JL-Steven and friends observation. This is honestly TR’s best 7 so far. They balanced each other well and JL had solid supporting vocals - Zen Zen the the other Chineses trainee (Sorry but his name I cannot pronounce). Zen Zen shined in this round, something he was not able to do when he was in Groove. This stage also surprisingly showed that the other Chinese trainee is very much capable, more capable actually than other popular visual trainees. The songs are not my cup of tea, but skill-wise, it will always be team Rhythm all the way.

This rating is fairly rated, I'm a rhythm fan but I'm so inlove with team beat song and performance, I literally keep playing On & On its just so good! They ATE that performance hoping they win 2nd Unit
