@mahagonycarter2587 I measure the water bottle directly using a tape measure and then add a quarter inch to the design. These specific water bottles are 9.25 x 5 inches for the design.

Hi, thank you 🙏 the shot glass was done in a toaster oven I got for free from someone who was getting rid of it. 400 degrees for 10 minutes and the shrink wrap came with the shot glass. Design made in Canva, printed on my converted Epson, with Cosmos sublimation ink.

Yes, with NO steam. Because of the holes in regular irons and the inconsistent heating of the plate you will want to move the iron a couple of times to ensure the vinyl is completely adhered in all places.

Yes, you can … though Cricut does not recommend it. You can cut anything on a Cricut without a mat if it’s sized down perfectly to the right width, but I would definitely do test cuts first to ensure the settings still work on your material without the mat.

I went into design space and they have a blank template called “Mug Design Setup”. You choose the size of your mug. It’s meant for infusible ink. It’s basically a rectangle with and an extra area on the sides to allow sticking to the mug with the adhesive that comes with the infusible ink sheets. The design section for my mugs was a rectangle 8.75 x 3.79 inches. I added the words and images to be cut out on top of the rectangle, making sure to attach or slice prior to cutting out with my Cricut. The words were a standard Cricut font and the design for the hieroglyphics I got off my work’s website.

Just to use any kind of foil not only cricut transfer foil, I suppose!

Hi, the hot foil uses heat to attach the foil to your material, Cricut’s foil tool presses the foil into the material … it’s pressure sensitive and does rub off a little if you rub your project hard, Cricut’s tool is more like embossing the foil into the material.

Cricut’s foil tool needs foil that is pressure sensitive, as it’s pressed into your material, so not all foil will work. But there are other brands that work … here’s a video that tried out some other brands th-cam.com/video/_RoEa_LiMLs/w-d-xo.html

What kind of vinyl are you using?

I use the Cricut everyday iron on, and I get it when it’s on sale. Like during Christmas sales, only because it’s quicker and more convenient to know that the settings in the machine are calibrated perfectly for their materials, so no test cuts needed.

Hi 👋 in a Joy you can cut faux leather as the thickest. In a Cricut Maker or explore air you can cut wood up to 3/32 of an inch, or 2.4mm.

@@minknight3258 sorry, I thought you meant Cricut machines in general. the Joy can’t cut that thick, probably faux leather is the thickest. With the knife blade on a Cricut Maker you can likely cut rubber, but would need to increase the pressure and number of cuts until cut all the way through.

Hello 👋 Your logo can be in a .png, .jpg, .gif, .svg, .dxf, .heic or .bmp format. On the canvas click upload on the bottom on the left side menu. You can drag and drop or browse to find your file.

To write using pens click text on the left menu bar, then at the top bar choose draw from the operation pull down (you can choose to draw with a pen, foil, score, or deboss). Choose pen 🖊 what ever you type will be drawn with whatever color pen you place in the Cricut.

@@Geterbaby510 It depends on how big of a label and the complexity that you want to make your labels. To do print then cut, you will need the Cricut Maker or a Cricut Explore. If you just want to cut vinyl and write ✍️ or foil on labels then a Cricut Joy is enough for 4.5” x 12” or smaller labels … and a lot cheaper … I found a used one on Facebook marketplace for $60.

You’re right, after trying out infusible ink I bought a sublimation printer.

Yes, highest setting without steam, iron for really short time periods (5 sec) until adhered. You can always iron a little longer, but if you iron too long it may melt your purse (fake leather). They sell generic brand mini heat presses on Amazon for as low as $26.99 https:/amzn.to/3uYyWai Also don’t forget that real irons have holes, so need to move iron positions to ensure all the HTV gets heated.

Hi, I bought the 12 oz mugs in a box 📦 of 36 from Cricut and they fit perfectly. I will have to see if I can change the size on the press to make it smaller to fit 11 oz mugs. I have done skinnier tumblers and mugs using a toaster oven … but you need shrink wrap amen.to/3FVdLc6 or a silicone mug wrap amen.to/3F0Jis0 to do it. I have tried both and they work well, I will try to make a video of this when things calm down at work. Hope this helps.

Hi, the mugs I used were the 12 oz ones from Cricut. I bought 36 mugs. They fit perfectly into the mug press. I’m sorry the 15 oz ones did not fit into your mug press. Can you return/exchange them?

If it hadn't been for that video, I never would have thought of doing that. I found a convection toaster oven on the side of the road for free. It was brand new. Now, we know why!

Hi, I used Cricut Craft room font in Cricut design space for the plain font. The cursive script is a free font from dafont.com called October Twilight. You choose the font in Cricut design space and them make sure to “weld” your cursive word together so your Cricut cuts it out a one continuous word. Hope this helps and let me know if any have any other questions.

Hi there, thanks for watching. This should definitely work on corduroy. The tighter the corduroy the better. Bigger/chunkier corduroy will potentially not adhere as well.

You also asked about corduroy on my infusible ink blanket video as well? All the corduroy I’ve found is cotton, which infusible ink will not adhere to. You could place glitter iron-on (AKA heat transfer vinyl) onto the corduroy first, then use infusible ink on top of it.

Hi 👋 Yes, any permanent adhesive vinyl works. You can gently use a hairdryer to make it adhere better, and if you really want to seal it in then you could use epoxy or dishwasher age mod podge. thanks for watching and let me know if you have any other questions.

Hi, I’m not sure what sticker link you wanted? I used Cricut design space to make the words, then welded them together. The cursive font was from dafont.com called October Twilight, and the plainer font is named impact.

The ones on the top of the blanket are named

@@mehaksyed3370 Hi, the words are made from silver glitter heat transfer vinyl (HTV) also known as iron on, cut out on my Cricut cutting machine. Then attached with the Cricut heat press to the blanket. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

I just checked and I couldn’t find a picture of the thicker blanket when it was completed … sorry 😞 But, maybe that means I’ll just have to make another one!

This may actually be PU leather. I would start at a lower temperature then work up. The biggest difference between the synthetic leathers and real leather is that synthetic leather can melt if the heat is too high.

I haven’t tried it on a crocheted 🧶 blanket, but if you do try it please let me know how it works out.
