At top 4 we went to game 3 and I was on the play I mulligan 6 cards to try and grab a one drop cuz this deck is super strong on the play. And I couldn’t get one 🤣 I lost being at 19 lores for couple turns. If I would openings up with any one drop I would taken it to the finals and I already beat that player on the Swiss 2-0.

@@jonathanbroyles3737 super fun and I think in my opinion really good! It’s got good matchups with how the meta is right now. It went smooth with all my matchups at the tourney. I lost top 4 and was at 19 lores for couple turns haha I was on the play and mulligan 6 cards to try and get a 1 drop for turn one and couldn’t get one hahah.

@@RokuNekoRoku_ it’s been my play mat since day 1 haha I got it on eBay about a year ago. I just typed in Disney playmats or try kingdom hearts playmats. I’m pretty sure they have even more badass ones now. I’m actually going to to look for another one if I really like the design I’ll get another may

@@Hawksss-vx9df and also there are better cards for this build than the simba so you wouldn’t want to take those out

@@AledMify it’s doin pretty good right now. And it’s super fun to play. It’s in my top 3 consideration to take to a 1k tourney next weekend. My other 2 I want to take is either my Steel Mufasa or ruby sapphire. I’ll decide this weekend.

@@AledMify the SCARFASA? I haven’t I have my play group that test with them in play couple people on discord webcam. But ya think the deck is good. A hard matchup for it in my opinion is steel.

​@Az_aquaman this deck wouldnt have much issue against blue red. I think purple red would give it problems though because it draws so much and locations are hard to answer. Glad the list got lower on the curve. I still hate daisy ducks

@@bryanwong1625 against ruby amethyst from my experience and testing. When I won I usually out race em and keep pressure up and it’s nice cuz they can’t hit mother gothal as easy as steel can and hitting mother Gotham with rapunzel is so nice against ruby amethyst in my opinion to me able to replenish hand and keep pressure. The answers really are brawls Turn 3, be king undisputed turn 4, Maui turn 5. And ofcoarse madusa turn 6 then the big one at turn 7 be prep. When I tried playin a little Slower and control then those game usually come up super close or I do lose. But turn 1 daisy, turn 2 lilo turn 3 Gothal, turn 4 rapunzel seems to get the job done. If they do play castles at that point I’d rather race most of the time. For me steel is really the tough matchup for me. They just have so much answer to banishing my damaged characters already. But at the end of the day it’s a tcg game and every deck has strength and weaknesses with other deck and luck comes in play with matchups as well. At the wnd of the day just play the best ya can and hope Lady Luck is sometimes on our side haha

@@Az_aquaman ohhh thats how. I play the control style with lower questers and usually get out controlled by red purple. Im going to try this aggro style and see how it goes

@@bryanwong1625 oh ya u can’t try control with ruby amethyst they have better control base game than scardfasa. But what we do have is we have better quester than they do ifnu look at their low end drop there all low quester unless is Flynn and sisu combo but that’s why we do run teeth or brawls to stop that. Ya most of the time I got out race em and only control and answer the cards on board of really needed.

@@fr0styfgc861 The Amelia isn’t bad at all. Only thing is I like my usual turn 4 curve to either be body guard or a rapunzel play. That way I drop Tiana turn 3 then Pluto bodyguard turn 4. Turn all my chracters then theyll really have rough time trying to get rid of that Pluto while Tiana is exerted. Also works well with LILO. LILO is to squishy and the plus 1 resist probably won’t help to much with steels and amethyst runnin around. But Tiana even if the opponent uses the 3 ink to negate the Tiana skill she did her job cuz 3 ink is big that could halt your turn. And if they don’t pay then u got a lilo to quest next turn.

@@bryanwong1625 oh I got ya. Haha ya I played against some emerald amethyst at the tourney. Definitely save strength for genies but ya you’re right. I won all the games but it was super super close! And on top of that some of them run the new evasive tink as well so so I answered one or two of there evasives but other than that I just raced em. That’s were Gantu put in work for me

@@bryanwong1625 it’s a big gamble playing against 🟢🟣 holding on to those songs. Mine got ripped out more often than not. I’m still figuring out how to be able to push past those 🟣 colors.

@@Az_aquamanI’m not convinced they’ve actually stopped printing it. Most the Canadian LGS I’m exposed to have only gone 1-2 months without being able to get 2-4 cases of the first chapter from distributors. I picked up a full case on Wednesday and the production date was August 2024. I’m pretty sure they’re just in maintenance printing of doing maybe something like 2 print runs a quarter - just from my anecdotal evidence so who knows 🤷‍♂️

@ 🤣😭🤣 I’m still using my ruby sapphire. Just grabbed my playset of Jim Hawkins and a bunch of cards for Ruby amethyst. I don’t play Ruby amethyst ever but a location deck and a burn deck looks fun. I’m enjoying the new toys for Ruby sapphire though haha

@ and it’s all good I ordered 2 boxes but I was in no hurry for this set. All have to wait til mass release. I didn’t get the super hype and excitement I did with shimmering skies. I’m still excited about this new set don’t get me wrong. But I don’t really have those chase cards I absolutely have to have specially in the enchanted part.

@Az_aquaman im more excited because of how many playable cards that I think are going to shift the meta in a big way! There's a couple enchanteds i like but I LOVED the shimmering skies enchanteds!

@@Az_aquaman That’s a solid 4 at least! if you like Ruby Fasa you gotta give my Steel Fasa list a try. I took 1st in set champs with it a couple of weeks ago. Fast as hell and still has some solid control options. A lot more resilient in the current meta over the Ruby Fasa. Got it posted up on my IG.
