I wish we had boarding schools in Jamaica. It would be expensive, but if subsidized by the government, it would result in our youth being exposed to a more balanced environment that would teach civic values, maintain culture, and reduce classism. I have a Cuban friend who went to boarding school. As a kid, I knew people who went to Munro, and these were the values they spoke of.
