No, it does not save any cost in fuel as synthetic oil from Klotz is the same price. Right now it has become nearly impossible to get pure nitromethane, and the price keeps rising.

@@pgrcadventures1414 dang. I was hopeful for a second. Don't know if it's worth keeping my old raptor 30 anymore. Parts are hard enough to find as it is.

Thank you, I end up blending ~22% nitro with ~22% oil. I buy KL-189 (synthentic oil, wont stain the pipe) from summit racing and blend pure methanol and nitromethane from Hyperfuels.

@@pgrcadventures1414 that's so cool! I literally just picked up a gallon of KL-189 at summit yesterday, but I didn't know where to get Nitro and Methanol. Thanks for the tip! 🙏

@@MikeG4936 Glad you are going to save some $$. Another tip, call Hyperfuels and talk to someone about your order, they will help get that shipping cost down. I blend 9 gallons at a time so I do not have to weigh and measure anything. I buy 2 gallons of oil, 2 of nitromethane and 5 methanol. Gives you the blend I mentioned above for the cost of 1 6-gallon case of VP from amain.

@@pgrcadventures1414 well it looks and sounds great. I think the Raw Nitro is one of my favorites. I see some of the maneuvers I do in your flying too. I watched Alan Szabo as a kid for many years and he kinda rubbed off on my flying style. Just keep spreading the love of flying. I’m glad my enthusiasm got under your skin. @@xcellfury99 There is a lot of testing that needs to be done rather than just set the highest frequency and send it. I originally tried 500hz for cyclic and 1khz for tail and drained my receiver pack which previously took 10-12 in 2 flights!! I luckily had a programmed low voltage alarm that went off and I landed immediately but I can see that being an issue if you were not paying attention. Additionally, the load on that little 2500mah 2s pack must of been a lot to kill it in about 8 mins. With that said, I can see how people may experience brown outs if running off the ESC. I would not blame the vbar EVO as the issue.

I run a temp probe inside the threaded slot for the exhaust header bolts. I usually see around ~270-290 during flight and peak of about ~330 if I do a bunch of tic tocs. I have my alarm set to 345 to let me know if the heat runs away.

First time, you will want to be patient and double check things so about 16-18 hours.
