    Wow. Absolutely nothing here was accurate. Nothing. Like, even Palestinian propaganda is more accurate. Firstly, we don't have pictures of Rashbi and Rashi. So to say that they never wore a Kippah is based on 0 evidence. Now, a kippah is not a symbol. In Talmudic times, we felt that it is respectful to cover our heads in reverence to Hashem. And guess what, that worked with any head covering. That's right, a triangle hat, a fadora, a turban, etc. Even a hood like in North Africa. The kippah was not invented to conceal one's Jewish identity. As a matter of fact, many places in the world forced Jews to wear distinctive clothing, so hiding your hat didn't do you much good if you wore a mandatory patch. It was invented because it feels more natural than wearing a turban 24/7. Nothing you said was true. And it is laughable.

    I found it interesting that are around the 32 min. mark Ryan mentions that the three larger Jewish orgs on campus do not work together. When Muhammad moved into Medina there were three large Jewish tribes who did not support each other. Muhammad attacked each one separately and picked them off one by one. They never helped each other. The last one, the Banu Qurayza, suffered the massacre of all males, say age 12 and up, and the enslavement of women and children. Religious history, far removed from us today, plays a significant part in the ongoing conflict in Israel and the world.

    There’s a big difference between the traditional head scarfs some Jews used to wear and the so called Sudra Rudy is promoting these days. The so called Sudras he promotes are a cheap attempt to rip of the Keffiyah and steal yet more Palestinian culture… the story of this design being a Jewish thing and then having to move to kippah as a more subtle version due to oppression is utter lies. Type in Sudra online and this narrative only started in the last few years by rudy rochman and his business partners. The designs they produce resemble nothing of the traditional Jewish headscarfs and are clearly designed to confuse those that are none the wiser. Nice try but it looks ridiculous and isn’t gonna catch on 😂

    Maybe she meant to use the word Zionist for a reason? It's funny that your entire argument seems to rely on the assumption that she used "Zionists" as a dog whistle for "Jews". If she wanted to say Jews, "behind closed doors" as you put it, then why didn't she simply say "Jews"? I mean if she was trying to be so overtly racist, then why didn't she go all the way where the public wouldn't have seen it? Tell me... could it possibly have been because words have meanings, and she wanted to use the right word for the statement she was making? It's weird to me that you never consider this. It's weird to me that you're suggesting words don't have meanings, and you can re-define a word as you see fit whenever you see fit. From the sounds of it, any use of the word "Zionist" by literally anyone will never be treated as the word "Zionist" by you. To you it's always a dog whistle to hate on "Jews". However, what's really weird is that you don't seem to realize that Jews who are Zionists also call themselves Zionists? Are you just unaware of this? If I'm not mistaken, a Jew literally came up with the word "Zionism" in the late 1800's. I mean... Heaven forbid someone use the word that they intended to use for the reason they intended to use it for. This whole time I never even bothered to post the actual definition of the word "Zionism". So let's do that now... Zionism is simply defined as "a person who believes in the development and protection of a Jewish nation in what is now Israel." Zionists "supports the return of the Jewish people to the Holy Land.". Zionism is an ideology, not a race... not a religion... and not an ethnicity. Not all Zionists are Jews. There are Christian Zionists. Muslim Zionists. Even Atheist Zionists... So, what you're saying is that if someone criticizes a Christian Zionist for supporting say.... a war crime committed by Israeli, that person is an Anti-Semite for criticizing a Zionist? Ayayayaya... If that's what you're saying, then aren't you actually saying that Jews can literally do anything they want and any criticism of their actions or even criticism of people supporting those actions is racist? In other words, you're saying Jews and the Israeli government should get a free pass no matter what they do... for.... reasons.... You're also presuming all Jews are Zionists. I for one am an American Jew who absolutely is not a Zionist. Sure, a large percentage of the worlds Jews are Zionists. Especially given that half the world's Jews live in Israel, and most Jews perceive that as a good thing. Maybe that's what's confusing you? Personally, I don't believe in religious or ethnicity lead states. I believe in ALL of the people of a region having equal rights, ALL having equal votes, and ALL having equal chance to govern their region. I believe in Democracy. I am adamantly against Apartheid. I find the Nakba, or forced removal of 750,000 Palestinian Arabs from their land in 1948 to not only be reprehensible, but Israel has never reconciled on the damage this incident caused. As to Ms. Fakih... I didn't even know about this until a couple of days ago. Want to know how I heard about it? I was in a car with a few Secular Jews who are Zionists. We drove by an Iranian restaurant on Orchard Lake that was re-opening that we used to frequent. I asked whether we should try it again. One guy responded "Nah, I don't want to support Iranian terrorists". Pure unadulterated stereotyping / prejudice. Someone responded "Oh yeah, whatever happened to that b***h that called all Zionists Scum". The irony is pretty thick, don't you think? I'll also mention something that in your entire diatribe you didn't bother to mention. That Ms. Fakih made her statement in response to Israel bombing a highly populated area of southern Beirut in Lebanon, which undoubtedly killed and injured many civilians, and certainly made them feel terror. Attacking a highly populated civilian area without any impending danger to Israelis troops would constitute a war crime. Now... maybe Ms Fakih was upset about that upon seeing it. Maybe she was a bit upset at those particular Zionists that support and celebrate these types of war crimes. Maybe she believes Zionism itself is propagating this never ending conflict. Sure... maybe she shouldn't make a point to call many of her constituents scum... folks who are undoubtedly Zionists who support this war, support all of Israel's actions, and think Israel has done nothing wrong, even in the face of a plethora of data showing they have absolutely done wrong.

      Now... let's talk some stats. What's the death count in Gaza these days? 41,000 dead last I checked. 16,400 children (CIVILIANS!), 8600 women (CIVILIANS), and undoubtedly many civilian men, especially elderly men (CIVILIANS!). 41,000 dead is 2% of Gaza's entire population of over 2 million. Many people think these figures are an extreme underestimate since they haven't been able to clear the rubble from Northern Gaza, which will assuredly find more dead bodies. Some estimates believe the death toll will reach as high as 160,000 - 200,000 once this conflict is over. 10% of the entire population. Over 90k people have been maimed and inured... or about 4% of Gaza's entire population. Israel's destroyed most of the residential infrastructure of the region, they've bombed most of the public infrastructure and buildings, and they've destroyed all the farms. There are two million people in Gaza without a consistent flow of resources into the region. Israel has intentionally withheld food, water, medical, and fuel aid to the region. This has lead to hundreds of thousands of people, men, women, and children being hit by a forced famine... forced by Israel. Aid did start up for awhile after international condemnation of Israel withholding aid and pressure from the US, but it's since reverted to less than half the shipments. To be clear, it takes a lot of resources shipped in daily to get food and water to 2 million people. It's gotten so bad now that the US government had to step in again and threaten to withhold promised weapon shipments to Israel, which is surprising since the US government has been all about giving Israel loads of bombs to drop on heavily populated civilian areas without recourse... Probably because the election is in 3 weeks. Israel at one point was planning to flood Gaza's natural fresh water aquifers with sea water... permanently destroying those aquifers ability to store fresh water in the future, and essentially making the region uninhabitable for Palestinians going forward. There's plenty of evidence of war crimes committed by Israel. There's plenty of proof for intentional G-cide. Plenty of quotes from Israeli officials talking about wiping out all of the Palestinians and/or forcing them off the land. There's been continued illegal settlements in the West Bank, and just recently, Israel started dropping bombs in the West Bank, again, killing civilians. John Oliver recently did a segment showing the apartheid like conditions in the West Bank. Speaking of Apartheid, even respected human rights organizations inside of Israel say thar Israel is an apartheid state... as if it wasn't already blatantly obvious. Israel has clearly been the main factor in ceasefire talk failures with Hamas. There was said to be a deal on the table in December that Israel put forward, and then they were surprised when Hamas accepted, so Israel backed out of the deal. That deal would have lead to the release of the remaining hostages, and would have lead to a full ceasefire. But that one's on Hamas, right? (Yes, Hamas committed an atrocity and deserves to be attacked... but one atrocity doesn't justify another ... in fact a MUCH MUCH MUCH bigger atrocity) Israel's escalated their conflict with Iran by assassinating Hamas' leader in Iranian territory, the leader who was responsible for the ceasefire talks... odd. They also bombed the Iranian consulate in Syria. Yes, they were so aghast when Iranian national "terrorists", shot a barrage of rockets into Israel at an air force base. An attack that was most certainly orchestrated with the blessing of the US state department ahead of time, as to avoid a major scaling up of the conflict. Both Israel and the US were well prepared to shoot down the rockets. Israel is now escalating the conflict with Hezbollah, even during ceasefire talks, with the US' blessing. It must be hard for Lebanese negotiators to consider ceasefire talks when Israel is literally bombing their capital and killing waves of innocent civilians. Israel planted bombs in pagers going into Lebanon, used by Hezbollah, yet proven to be handled by civilians as well. By blindly exploding those pagers, I fail to see how this is any different than any other terrorist action. Civilians will certainly be terrorized about using their electronic devices going forward. Some civilians lost their lives, their hands... half their faces... So add all of this up... and what does it make? Correct me if I'm wrong, but no one is allowed to criticize Israel, or else they'll be dismissed as an Anti-Semite, right? It's pretty funny actually. What were clearly anti-war protests on campuses across the US, often organized by Jewish groups... clearly protesting war crimes... were deemed pro-Hamas... pro-Terrorist... and anti-Semitic. Simply arguing for the safety of innocent civilians was considered Anti-Semitic, all because Israel was the one doing the attacking. If criticizing Israel's blatantly bad/evil actions is considered Anti-Semitism... then you're absolutely right. Anti-Semitism is on the rise. And also, I've learned we can completely re-define words to anything we want. Words have no meaning anymore. But still, I hope these statistics may shine a light on why Ms. Fakih may have been upset enough about the video she posted about Beirut being bombed to make the statement she did. You don't have to be anti-Jew to be upset about what Israel is doing. I'm a Jew, and clearly I'm upset too, and I am more than happy to call out Israel's ongoing atrocity, ongoing war-crimes, and ongoing g-cide. It's certainly disturbing to me that many of my peers, Zionists, approve of Israel's actions, no matter how terrible they are. If you don't want to call them scum... what word would you call it? Great moral people?

    • @naaspam1185
      @naaspam1185 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      FYI... the protest in front of the Holocaust center was lead by a Jewish Holocaust survivor. Yeah, I'm real sure they were an Anti-Semite. Do people ever consider that humans are not only capable, but often do bad things, and Israelis / Jews are also humans? If a person does a bad thing, we should be allowed to call them out, no matter what their race, religion, or ethnicity. To not be able to do so is, frankly, insane. The point of the protest was for the Holocaust Center to condemn what Israel was doing. The center said they weren't affiliated with Israel, so they shouldn't have to condemn Israel. Eh... I don't think it was a big ask... and protesting in front of the Holocaust center in protest to what many now see as being an Israeli g-cide of Palestinians, does hold importance... as ironic as it may be. By bringing up this particular protest, isn't what you're saying that Israeli is not allowed to be criticized at all, ever, no matter what deeds they do? Not by non-Jews. Not even by Jews. Not by anybody. To do so is Anti-Semitic? If that's what you're saying, then it's clear the word "Anti-Semitic" doesn't mean what you think it means, and/or you've attempted to redefine the word. If you redefine the word, then the importance changes as well. Therefore, a person who exemplifies the original meaning of "anti-Semitism" is a deplorable human being. A person who exemplifies the new meaning YOU have given "anti-Semitism" is a stand up person fighting for human rights, and fighting against atrocities. Confusing? Absolutely. This is why you shouldn't blindly change what words mean...

    Sadly, the issue is occupation. Too much is being made on the occupation for people to let it end. I truly hope something changes. I've always wondered why people can't see the part you do where people can change if they are allowed the space to change. A place formed on bloodshed will have issues until people realize bloodshed isn't the answer and both sides need to see each others history and pain. I really hope world leaders push for change instead of sitting by benefiting off of the suffering of generations.

    • @TheJosephPrice
      @TheJosephPrice 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That’s part of the wider issue. There are different definitions of “occupation”. Many Palestinians consider all of Israel to be an occupying force, not just the occupied areas of the West Bank. That’s very problematic. Until most Palestinians accept Israel exists, has a right to exist, and will continue to do so; Israel and Palestine will never complete their complicated divorce and then live in peace side by side.

    Thank you for sharing and teaching about religion and culture without minimizing or being derogatory to other cultures and religions. I would also like to note that many of the described treatments to Jews were not Islamic in nature. Religious leaders and rulers created those laws but many (almost all) have no bases in islam and are actually seen as infringing on someone's rights. Jizya was basically like a tax for protection since no taxes was to be collected under religious law and only Zakat is collected from Muslims. Jiza and Zakat are not to impose undo hardship, something many leaders whole ignored. It's said that in the time of the prophet Jizya was around 2 percent of a person's income. That's a far cry from what leaders chose to do having upwards and sometimes over 50 percent. It's honestly sad how we all now pay high taxes outside of Islamic countries (though many have or are moving towards taxation). The US tax rate all together is around have a person's salary which is insane. I just wished to share that leaders don't reflect the religion or scripture. They will also have to face their maker for their sins and warping the religion. I was raised in the Middle East and tend to try to leave comments so people can understand more.

    I actually saw many Rabbis in multiple Bayt Knessets within Israel wearing a Sudra wrapped around there head! It’s a beautiful thing to see our culture come back to life!🙌🏽🇮🇱

    Even if the company is based in America, and you're American, taking your data against European law would require them to have two different versions of their app, which most companies don't bother with.

    Leave it to you have keep on deleting my comment, I can't believe that you're willing silent people who speake the truth it's sad. You are playing and the Impact move, change idea means changing history. But don't worrie I still here. Also how can speaking the truth be a hate speech? any who here you go So just for you I rewrote my comments for you to look at. first, no, the U.N. has not moved the goal post the Israeli have been expanding them. Second 1967 border is the U.N. recognized border. Third, you didn't address your criminal p.m. statements and if the people dont agree with why has had the longest term in office, there most be a correlation. So, for you to say, just nonfiction to defend the zoinist agenda is pathetic. Us Muslims welcome jews everywhere they want to live, but you zoinist are racisit to anyone who isn't a zionist or jew, www.jewishchronicle.org/2008/03/31/israeli-soccer-exposes-racism/ Not just that you guys are racisit to your own black/arab jewish brother . en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Racism_in_Jewish_communities Also the your the terrorist zoinist ancestors killed a mediator who was a Swedish royal. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Folke_Bernadotte. As for the Palis not selling their land to zoinist and making laws that is a death penalty to sell to Israel's I can see and understand why, the zoinist have made an open air prison so either with them or against them. Concerning the temple mount yes it is a holy place for Jews and Muslims BUT it'd under Jordanian care as the Israelis agreed to. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Temple_Mount_entry_restrictions#:~:text=a%20religious%20duty.-,Israeli%20restriction%20policy,can%20visit%20at%20a%20time. Yet numerous and uncountable time the IDF has raided the mosque and killed worshippers. Impact. The Israeli group that goes around paint the Israel's as the victim and the Palestinian as the perpetrators. Who are changing what is fact and fictions. Tho our text and religion don't agree with the idea that said calling jews mockeys and pigs that is wrong. And I saved it
