I think you're new here. Pointing and explaining is how I conduct my tours.
The laundry room tub is for hand washing stains or rinsing out thins. Also, you can pour out waste water from cleaning floors, etc. Furniture holding dining room tools and eating item is a buffet. Fireplace adds atmosphere/style and appeals to buyers not for actual warmth unless it is wood burning. I have a wood burner fireplace. It's gorgeous and I use it in winter on snowy days for the smell and atmosphere. Really is a nice luxury in my modest suburban home. I'd never place a TV over the mantle though. I have mine to the side in my home and it is eye level too. Suggestion: The mic is picking up your breathing in the background a lot. You might want to adjust the audio or mic to focus on your voice. Many of the questions you've asked about what is that or what is its purpose can be answered by asking an older woman. I'm sure there are some in your circle that can explain because of what women have traditionally done to maintain a home instead of men. A boomer like me knows from experience 😊. Keep up the good work. This home has great land position. 2ndary rooms and closets are surprisingly smaller than expected though. The 2nd office is a wasted space. I'd knock out the wall between it and the living room to make it usable. Definitely need the tub in the primary bathroom for resale at minimum. Back yard is great and appealing to give the feel of extra living space for entertainment. Good for resale. Possible pool or a fire pit addition. Some areas codes no longer permit outlets on the sides of islands because kids pulling cords and injury. Instead, outlets are on top of the island and either a flushed to the surface or have pop up mechanics to hide when not in use. Add outlets in the pantry. Bidets without heated water are on Amazon. Honestly, the water is not so cold it needs heated. I live in Ohio and we get heavy cold weather. I have 3 bidets. The water gets cool at best in the winter because my home is well insulated. Cool water is great for groin and skin care. Less chance of damage to skin and tender areas. I like looking at real estate tours as a hobby. I'm not planning a move, but the tours have given me ideas for my home remodeling plans.

@AskAWalker i agree huge space to do a lot with. I am enjoying the channel. i have never been to Virginia yet, but I am looking to relocate to the dmv area next year. It's expensive but manageable. Learning about the neighborhoods from yoy has also been great.

@AskAWalker Check where your buyers are working. If they are direct GOVT employee or a GOVT contractor. Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac can shed nearly 50% of its employees. Most of them are junk. You know how many useless GOVT contracts are awarded to companies in NoVa. Atleast 50k employees can be removed out of NoVa without a dent to efficiency.

The Pentagon alone has over 26,000 employees, and defense spending represents one of the largest portions of the federal budget. Would you support reducing the defense budget too, considering its impact on the local economy and national security? I am also curious. How do you see cutting these jobs benefiting the average person in Northern Virginia? Would shifting this work to private companies, like those owned by Elon Musk, really solve the problem, or would it just move the spending elsewhere?

I wish they had the options to do double shower heads but it was not an options at the design center, we end up getting shower spray that can be turned on the same time as the shower head. Also recommend putting an GFCI outlet next to the bidet as well at the design center.

Great video. I live in a stacked condo now. Would recommend that anyone considering this style of home invest heavily in sound insulation or ensure the builder does before buying. You WILL hear your neighbors (even worse if you're on the lower level).

@@AskAWalker Sound insulation was not offered as an option with my builder (nor any of the others in my development). Builders are only required to build to code and the code is not coding. The only way is renovation, which requires drywall removal from the walls (and ceiling if on the lower level). Note: The HOA may or may not approve of this renovation, so know before you buy. If your peace is at the will and whim of your neighbors (or HOA), it is not your home, regardless of how much you're paying for it.
