Bro was there....first time I heard Chimera was at that concert....i think that the Tech Center might not had enough electrical support, because they didnt use any microphones to talk to the crowd. The line or a breaker connecting to the electrical nylon might have crapped out or surged or something, but idk. Concert was amazing though...had a good time. Wife asked me if they were ever going to sing...lol she's obviously not a Polyphia fan. Lol. I had to tell her that none of the songs they play dont have any singing. Lol.

Okay, this definitely sucks as a performer, but they did the right thing and powered through. It would have been SOOOOOOOOO fucking sick though if Tim had just realized the TOD wasn't live to the PA and then gone back to the 8-string and tried the acoustic pick with full-grease. I'm sure it would have sounded sludgy, but man....what if?!?!??!

I know he apparently came back out but still pretty lame to see him walk out, shit happens and the show must go on. I can’t help but think he could of easily just played the acoustic part on his electric

That same venue had issues the next night for bullet for my valentine. Could not hear the singer for vended. Audio was very low. Bullet sound was super low. I’ve been to outdoor concerts that were louder. Cmon tech port. Get better. We don’t have much music venues in San Antonio.

My guess would be an RF issue. They are playing larger spaces in busy parts of the city where TONS of RF is flying around. This stuff happens all the time. Looks like they are all wireless. Sound person here.

bad form....things dont always go to plan during live shows and you need to know how to deal with them. be part of the solution. you dont pitch a fit and walk off stage. very unprofessional. edit: dont get me wrong, i know they work pretty hard. theyre great players and i do enjoy their music, but B.B. re-strings on stage in like 3 bars..this is not how you conduct yourself in front of people who paid good money for their tickets and probably looked forward to that show for months. sorry for the fans

He snapped. I get it. I don’t think this is the first fuck up, so he got mad. Should have handled it better (you can finish the track and then bollock the sound engineer after). But I get it, particularly as I think Tim specifically sinks a lot of time into this.

t's so unprofessional of him, i prefer yngwie over him, even though yngwie is an arrogant musician but he never leave the stage when the song still on going, i remember watch some of his live performance video, when he wants more reverb for his guitar and he talks to the sound guy direct from the mic while he plays his guitar.

There were all kind of weird sound problems at the Phoenix show too. I think they need a more talented tech with them for their sound to transfer live.

Poor Tim. Seen some interviews where he takes a lot of pride in how they sound live and they put in a lot of time and work to make sure they're top notch. Hope he wasn't too hard on himself or anyone. Shit happens and I'm sure they still killed the rest

They also had issues in LA. They played well but the numerous issues took me a bit out of the show. Sounds to me like they need to make some improvements in the supporting crew.

They're so good live. I'm sad i missed them this year.
