You gotta move the tube around a lot and possibly go further in. Happened to me last time. I had the tube about 98% all the way in.

hhmm interesting...I will say I try to stay above 2k! This car is incredibly noisy mechanically wise. Just make sure to do weekly oil checks while car is cool so oil is all the way at the bottom to get a true reading of the level. I've also read that Subaru engines are quirky, you can't ignore them like you can from a Honda. Routine maintenance and you should be good!

@@Marclanhenzil If you don’t need to lug around much and are okay with only having one passenger, yes it’s an absolute blast while still having some space to play with if needed. The ride did get a little stiffer with coil overs but I’m already used to it. I’m saving up for a daily driver because I wanna keep this car long term and Im already at 28k miles from daily driving!

Thank you for your comment and congrats on the GR86! Our cars are super noisy for the most part but I think that's a mix of motor and clutch. Having driven in my buddies 86 and another buddies BRZ, there are clunks and noises at all times which may be a good or bad thing depending on the driver! Anyway I rather not fully gas it at that part when my car is potentially on 3 wheels because of the steepness lol. Now the noise you really want to avoid is when the dude went to walk infront of me but then backed out and I left it in 2nd gear when I should have been in 1st. While you CAN start from 2nd in this car, you do get a bit of engine lugging which is what you don't want. Anytime I'm rolling under 10 mph I blip the gas a little for 1st. Anything above 11 really mph I'm in 2nd gear. I learned those little quirks from being in stop and go traffic every day for work. If you go back through my channel and look for #42 Drive With Me that includes a pov from a 10+ year manual driver in this car. His exhaust is louder because of the headers but you can hear similar noises haha.

@@thisisKB87 Thank you for your advices and thanks for your infos about the other 86s and brz. Its hard to get information her from other gr86 or brzs cause there are only a few (maybe 6000-8000) in whole europe, because the car got banned for import. But everytime i sit in it i am smiling :)

Yep! I think it's a small enough margin to use the extractor in this case!

Thanks, do you have any difficulty to plug in and out of the extractor tube into the dip stick tube ? I m worry about the bending at the bottom if the dip stick tube

@@wilsonwong8560 At first I did but you can feel it bottom out which helps with not bending.

Too damn high (over MSRP)! You'll have better luck going BRZ route for MSRP and if you really really want to, you can swap the front bumper. but MSRP dealerships are almost non-existent in Houston.

Thanks!! It’s actually on stock suspension. Wheel set up is 18x8.5 +44 SSR GTX01 with 235/40 Continental ECS02. No spacers.

@@jaron95 A lot of people live by "coil overs before wheels" but I think this looks pretty good with a flush/proper offset than getting coil overs first and adding spacers for the stock wheels. Specifically on 18 inch wheels though. 17s on stock suspension is when it looks super monster truck IMO! Right now I been fighting between springs or crying and buying coil overs. I really just want to close the gap. Good luck with your BRZ, let me know what you get!

I love my Spec-L! It's not too rowdy and it's great feedback. Sometimes I wish it was louder but I'm going to get headers eventually to remedy that. The most popular ones I've heard good things from are from Apexi, Borla, and HKS . And then to go even rowdier is the Tomei, AWE, Remarks.

Thank you very much for the feedback 🙏 It was these last two vlogs that I started using the 360 function that lets you see more inside at the sacrifice of seeing the road but your comment solidified that I should go back to the road view 😂 I did want a POV camera at first but luckily this camera was lent to me indefinitely. You for sure are tempting me to get that POV camera though!
