Thank you for this very generous sharing of your experience sir! I’m a designer in Canada, old enough that AutoCAD was first generation and it was simply an added course for us then. Drafting and sketching everything by hand was the norm. What it taught us was to not rely on technology to figure out your problems. 25 yrs later working in the construction industry I saw so many home plans come across our hands in the family concrete industry and when information was not discernible on a plan, we would contact the builder’s design team and they were absolutely lost as to where a radius point was located for a simple curved sidewalk or stairs. They were taught to let the program do their work without understanding how they got there. The industry conferred with the local university that was pumping out architectural technologists and they agreed to put back into course curriculum “drafting and sketching”….with pencils! Besides the core information and drafting skill set that is gained, there’s so much more art and life brought to a client’s project when they can see the human creativity. Humans crave actual art and craftsmanship and it’s why the masters of art and architecture will always be revered.

فعلا على ذكر الايباد و اهميته و البرامج اللي عليه برضوا كنت حضرت سيشن لASLAودي زي نقابة المهندسين بس ل معماريين اللاندسكيب ف امريكا و كانت عن اهمية و دور التطبيقات دي زيPROCREATE, CONCEPTS, و فعلا الموضوع مهم جدا و بيوفر و بينجز كتير .... مع التنويه ان الرسم الاول باليد برضوا لا غنى عنه كبداية لفهم الاسس للرسم و غيره... و بتسهل جدا عرض المشاريع و الجانب الانساني من المشروع و ده بيفيد جدا ف عرض المشاريع دي بالذات للناس اللي عميل اللي مش ميهموش اوي التكنيكال بتاع المشروع كعرض ... لكن طبعا مرحلة التكنيكال لا يمكن تجاهلها... فقط للتوضيح... و شكرا ع المحاضرة القيمة جدا ...

انا طالب اولي اعدادي هندسة ممكن تنصحني بالايباد ولا اللابتوب في الجامعه بعد اذن حضرتك ✨

Theres no way to récord a camera and track it to do some nice shots:( inside of the iPad to have shots for detailing the enviroment into procreate, i mean, a way to animate all inside on iPad with 3d backgrounds recorded
