2 des 4 modules du system 100 de Roland. puissant et chaud, le module 101 (semi modulaire) offre 1 oscillator à 4 formes d'onde , VCF (HPF et LPF), VCA, ADSR et générateur de bruit (pink et white). Controlé (CV et GATE) par le module 104 (arpegiateur) à 12 pas. Si le son se mangeait, ce serait de la crème analogique!
Que la joie s'installe ! AKAÏ 4000 DS MK II, MOOG Prodigy, ROLAND System 101, KORG DSS1, BIT99

Je tombe par hasard sur une vieille bande d'un DJ qui anime un mariage dans les années 70. Il avait dû enregistrer sa prestation pour archivage. Du pur bonheur à sampler!! Avec comme claviers: MOOG Prodigy, ROLAND System 101, KORG DSS1, CRUMAR BIT99, KORG M1 Enjoy;)

I saw a guy use a toilet plunger in a diy for a talk box. I think using that with this method would yield a superior result due to the rubber dampening and directing the sound much better. Just a thought. Thanks for the cool video.

He's not doing it right. Certain sounds still have to be made with the mouth.
This was my first keyboard ever! offered by my parents at the age of 15, in 1988. Sooooooo many compositions made on this mythic keyboard (mythic for me). Does anyone has ever sampled the original sounds of it ? Most particularly the following sounds : Synth 1, Synth 2 and Violin. Unfortunately my own SK200 is now out of order. Would you have the kindness to sample this keyboard please ? I Already wondered which synthesis was at the origin of these unique metallic and synth sounds, but I didn't figure out. Not even phase distorsion after this I had a GEM S2 from 1993 to 2014 and now I am under Native Instruments Komplete 10.

Why do you not eat the mic next to it picking up the sound from your mouth?..... Just curious... know real ones there's a mic and I've seen other DIY talk box and they had to have a mic
you are right, it's better to have a mic just near your mouth (what i did during recording the song) but i used the camera's microphone just at the end of the vidéo because i'm a lazy guy!
Instead of a funnel, I’d try using the head of a plunger, more sound resistant and thicker
You are right, a plungger would be better to isolate the sound, but too big for it. And my talkbox is more like a joke but i'll do a serious one soon...

1) Does this need to be placed in a box or closed compartment to work? 2) I've read that these type of amps can blow quickly, is that also true?

If I'm not wrong, It's popular for being the thing that you plug an electric guitar to in order to play it properly but really you can do it with any kind of electric instrument with the proper cable. It's used for increasing the volume of instruments in live performances.
