I'd pay $1400 for a Captiva blue Si all day long! One year color and they don't come up often. Good luck with the car.
absolutely! i feel the same way. thank you so much for support 🙏🏻
Liked and subed I love 80s-90s honda and vw keep up the videos
I appreciate the support, big time! 🙏🏻 will do!
You overpaid for that, man..... I mean, yeah, it's an si hatchback but that doesn't mean it's worth much if the whole rear quarter panels has a bunch of dents and rusted off (along with the other issues). It's not like a fender where you can just easily replace it with. Na'mean? With that said, as far as motor goes, just slap an eBay turbo on that sucker and call it a day. Keep it a shoestring budget build!
I get you, but I already have a regular car. I’m not rushing into getting it back on the road, I want take my time to restore it to the best of my abilities. Technically, budget is part of it, but I am also taking it slow and making sure that it’s going to be the way I envisioned it to be, and not just whatever. I appreciate your input though 🙏🏻
Great build. For simplicity id keep the mini me. If you willing to strip it all down and replace consider a b20 vtec Frankenstein conversion. Not sure how crazy the market has gone in the usa with b20's.
Absolutely right! that’s one of the problem, im looking around and price is crazy!! im processing something, probably will give an update about it soon! I appreciate your advice a lot
Boring video!
I need those panels lol the rear c pilar trims the trim you was taking the clips from
i actually went back and saw the car was still there. it was more stripped than last time. not sure if it’s still there, but ill check when i go back and save them for you. 👍🏻👍🏻
Arm rest is original not integra its just painted
ahh, i see. i was told the the rest is original, the arm rest is not. i will actually try to put a different center console to see if it’s gonna look okay, if not ill keep it as it is
I got a k series Eg if u ever need any help lmk
I appreciate it a lot bro! definitely! 🙏🏻Im working on finalizing which engine to go for. probably will be talking about it on future videos
Check engine light not turning on
The battery is completely dead and damaged so we were using a jumper pack, but it was also dead. It did turn on though when i turned on the car during the night and i let it idle, but I didn’t get to show the clusters.
Crusty body...some people love that style
right! some people told me keep it as it is.
B series would be a nice nostalgia build but like you said, todays market is crazy! I’ve switched over to the darkside and k is definitely the way! There are a ton of budget friendly parts from mounts all the way to engine harness and fuel system. May cost around the same as a full b series but plenty reliable and nice power. 200-240whp with simple bolts ons and a tune depending on the engine. Another plus about k series is you can buy the swap parts as you go along and if you have a swap and mounts, all those parts can be installed after the engine is already in the car because of the amount of working space.
I completely agree with you 👍🏻👍🏻. I’m actually making a list to make comparisons on these different options. A lot of people i’ve spoken to also prefer to go K. Saying that, I have some knowledge of k series because of my ep3 and i like it a lot. I appreciate your advise a lot 🙏🏻
no problem, if you have any questions feel free to ask. I am currently building a 95 civic sedan and a 90 hatch Si both with k series swaps. Eg’s are the easiest platforms to put a k in since the have the subframe everyone uses in their ek’s aswell
Oh that’s great man! hit me up too if anything, i would love to know how yours come out. Thank you so much!
Cool, captiva blue SI
🙏🏻 thank you, i like this color. very unique.

Looks like you guys don't know what you 🤔 are doing the cable is too long you are using the wrong one 😢
Honestly, it’s the wire that we got from the exact same car from the junkyard. We took a chance and tried it. that’s what the adventure is about, just trying to make what’s available work. 😊
Where are you guys located?
We are based in Georgia 👍🏻👍🏻
Sweet I subbed 😊😊😊😊😊
Thank you so much! 🙏🏻
😊
The arm rest is from a 93-95 civic ex it’s missing the back braket that holds on to the e brake
Ohh! I thought it was from an Integra. Now I know, I can try and see if I can find that bracket in the junkyard then. Thank you so much! 🙏🏻
Just keep posting, One day you'll reach to the level of success. great job on the video.
One day indeed! We will keep working hard especially to bring this car to its greatness
