Nice screwdriver only thing that rapidaptor gets in the way "sometimes" if the screw is close to something and your using a 1" bit possibly camming out the screw. You'll need a longer bit too clear that obstruction.

i know this is an older review but i wish i would've found it before i purchased my hl3a late last year... i bought it because i wanted a simple but powerful 1 x 18650 headlight with a strobe... well, it has all that but it gets hot and begins to step down almost immediately in turbo mode... worse yet, the strobe is useless for a defensive/ emergency situation because it's not quickly accessible; in fact it's ludicrously difficult to access it rendering that option useless in a real situation... why even offer it and fool people to think that since it has it one will have quick access to it?... a defensive (tactical) strobe must be accessed quickly in an unexpected sudden emergency so it must be accessed immediately, most light manufacturers program it with a double or triple click from off... this light has it hidden behind a ton of multiple clicks and holds, utterly ridiculous... it shows that the designers of this type of ul do not think along the lines of common sense... the light, apart from just being a simple 3 mode headlight for hands free illumination source while working around my home, is completely useless to me regarding my intended purpose for it... i could've spent a lot less $ if i wanted a simple headlight... should've stuck with my favorite brand zebralight... which is what i've replaced it with bringing my total of zebralight lights i currently own to 8, after needlessly spending money on the hl3a... i did search for hl3a reviews prior to my purchase and found several but i couldn't find one which delved into the specific modes like the strobe so i figured it's likely easily accessed... only now i found yours but it somehow didn't come up in my yt search at that time... if all anduril ui systems work the same i'm staying away from that system...

To enter lock mode on the Jetbeam Mini One SC, you can do it with 3 clicks, but on the Mini One SE the UI is different.

Ok finaly worked out how to get the lamp to stay on for more than 10 seconds, 1/ Press and hold the power button till the two red lights come on and keep holding the power button in 2/ Plug in the usb charge lead into a power source and then into the torch as if you were going to charge it then let go of the power button and remove the charge lead. hey presto now the light will stay on until the battery is depleated.

The plastic bracket will wear over time. I have to consider how often I would be adjusting the angle up and down. I find once set a headlamp at the best angle for me I leave it. Nitecore should sell a spare bracket but I can't see one on my searches, correct me if I've missed it ! Thanks for making this very in depth review.

Snapon does in fact own Bahco. Bacho dies manufacturer the Snap on adjustable wrenches. The only real difference is the color and the name stamped on it. Recently though, snap on has started manufacturing the wrenches in the US with the exact same design.

Bro. I've been rocking two HC65's for over half a decade now based on your recommendation. They are beaten to hell and finally have both stopped working. 10/10 for the money, really great driver. The smaller one down is also excellent and grips bits with no wobble at all. The only better holder I've ever used is the Wiha Centrofix which is only just slightly better but multiples in price!

I own this and bought it despite all the YT content complaints about the magnet not being a strong connect, the tip being all plastic, and the clip looking weak. But, it works for it's intended purpose and it's a sleek small form factor. Maybe PB Swiss knows what they are doing after all? IMO if you have a use for these, get one and you will like it.

It’s a copy of the 711L lollipop diver. The 711L addresses the problems you raise with this one….for a price.

Great idea about making a version with a larger handle and bit storage. I'm tossing up whether to get this one or wait and see if Wera brings out a larger version in the future.

That's weird that it has to be unscrewed so far to break the current. The threads appear anodized so that should be nonconductive apart from the polished edge of the tube. The inside of the tailcap must still be touching that for a little bit of unthreading.
