So much power
What a beautiful plane should never be retired ❤
Wow
The most beautiful object ever crafted by humans hands.
Was this at cosford
The MOTH that carried 21,000 lbs of bombs. The Handley Page Victor had the ability to carry 35,000 lbs of bombs, almost as much as later series of B52s.
That spiral climb was used in the Black buck Falklands war
That howl is just phenomenal its spine tinglingly fantastic alaays gives me goosebumps.
I know Raf
Spiral climb best defence
Fantastic
I've been lucky enough to visit airships all over the country, and the star of the show was always the Vulcan, I was also brought up only a few miles from A V Roes at Woodford in Cheshire, where the Vulcan was made, and spent many a school holiday hunkered down in one of the bunkers at the end of the runway, just to get a glimpse of this iconic aircraft, to me and many others one of, if not the, most magnificent aircraft in British aviation history.
Imagine you're in the woods at night, have a nice camping trip and the plane fly over you...
She might be an old girl but my GOD she sounds good 😊❤
Now that is a plane!
The bomber that thought it was a fighter, awesome plane.
Designed in 1946, a hell of an aircraft for its day. Repeatedly sailed through US air defenses for simulated nuclear bombing runs to help them find the weak spots.
Always wished that it had a V shaped vertical tail 😀
Imagine this was the final sound you heard before this drops it payload on you, you think the grim reaper had he's own private jet howling to collect your soul
To bad we don't have a B58 Hustler flying a similar track to compare the two bombers. Cheers!
Stick some afterburners on that old gal and watch her go!
In one hundred years time when aviation has completely changed the Vulcan and its howl will still be talked about
The crowd falls silent as Vulcan howls. Wow I have goose bumps
Oh how we have progressed. The Vulcan and Concorde now sit on the ground and all we can do is look at them.
I do love a delta wing aircraft
One of the most beautiful airplanes ever made!!! The British airplanes are always something special ....
The Vulcan was designed for one thing only - to drop nuclear bombs on Russia. Unfortunately it never did.
What other power setting would you expect him to take off with? It might look like full power but I see no reheat.
What Happened to Britain?
How can a warbird be so lovely and graceful
vidéo inutile... une perte de temps
TOTAL CLICKBAIT. NOWHERE NEAR FULL POWER....
Ha, like to see the green brigade draw a crowd like that with an electric plane.... Ain't no way humanity will give up the raw raging power of combustion this century. Viva la thrust vectors!!
Most of the random stuff that turns up in my feed really pisses me off. But being sent back to air shows at RAF St. Athens as a child in the '60s when you would feel planes such as this come over low, turning everything dark, then a lightning would follow, stand on it's tail and disappear into the sky. I'm sure that I can smell the fuel again. Thank you.
Which Thunderbird number is this?
Damn the early English jets were some sexy bastards. The Brits know how to make metal beautiful.
Captures the howl pretty well, but I reckon you’d need a full professional outdoor mic setup to really accurately capture the absolute total assault on your eardrums the Vulcan causes. It’s like the sky and Earth being ripped apart, the roar :D
Yap, yap, yap, self important yap yap yap. Why can't these mini Alan Partridges just shut up and let the crows enjoy the experience of the plane, instead of their incessant babbling? Just tell people BEFORE the plane arrives, then let them enjoy it. They're there to hear the Vulcan. Not you.
Jumpin' jeepers! Try doing *that* in a B52.
I don't know how many Vulcan Fans, commenting here know, There's an amazing video on YT, titled, When Britain Nuked the USA. It was, of course, a joint excersize between UK and US Airforces, testing their latest air defences, for the USA ( some years ago). The RAF's 3 Vulcans, all penitrated the US Cover, unidentfied, and had it been for real, could have NUKED them. ( No bombs on board, obviously) The Americans were shocked and in disbeleaf. SO, after many improvements, they set up another ''attack'', which had the same result. Some other RAF planes were detected, but the 3 Vulcans not only flew higher than the US planes, their Radar Jamming , made sure they were not detected.
never see a B52 doing this.
I saw one at Barksdalle AFB in the 70's. I'll never forget that sound.
Tools of human suffering.
such a shame the last airworthy one has been ousted from Doncaster
Amazing sounds coming out of my iPhone, one can only imagine how it must sound live
... like a gigantic whale tail roaming the skies... beautiful design... 11yrs, unbelievable!
As a Yank I approve this plane 😀 I first saw the plane in a James Bond movie and fell in Love. The same way I feel about the B1
The Vulcan always reminds me of Rodan
That sounds more terrifying than an Aztec death whistle.
