Amazing! His playing is so calming and ethereal, but the reverb is lovely too :D

Love this sonata - a lot of it is not too difficult (in terms of just playing the notes) and it's full of character. While Moravec's technique is impressive, I find some of his tempi too fast - especially the Trio and the Rondo. That last section was a blur (it's marked quasi Presto. not Prestissimo).

That third movement is absolutely FLYING yet every single note is clear and played with intention. Has to be one of my favourite performances of this piece ever, probably how I'd play it

What's the difference between virtuoso sheet music robots and REAL musicians who can pjay anything by ear and ad-lib? Mind you, there are sheet music virtuosos who can play anything by ear AND ad-lib too, which makes them to be REAL musicians.

For me, Images is the absolute essence of Debussy. If someone asked "what is Debussy like?" I'd play them Images. It is all things Debussy concentrated into half an hour of beauty.
