How do I apply for this? I would like to try out for 2025 if possible. Also is there an upper age limit? I am 51 years old but I am in good shape and am a high level jiu-jitsu and judo practitioner with boxing and karate experience.

Wyoming= Best state. I'm currently a U.S. Marshall and I'm debating whether to join the WHP. That would mean I have worked for the government for 13 years, and at this point I can accurately fire any firearm you put in front of me lol. I live in Wyoming and this means I can live here in the cowboy state and protect it. Definitely leaning towards becoming a motorcycle cop here in the state.
Driver should have stirred in the same direction in which the slid was happening. Could have been gently corrected, In my opinion.
There are less than 700,000 residents in the entire state of Wyoming. What are they practicing for?
Encounters with the dangerous criminals who sometimes come to, or through, the state. This is the Highway Patrol. Also, in case you haven't noticed, basically every police service and sheriff's office in the country issues rifles to officers and deputies, so they should surely be trained to use them effectively...

I think they should make more rest areas all over I-80 so the semi rigs can safely pull over and wait out them bad blizzards so they don't wreck so bad in the winter time they don't have to make stores at each one of them they should make them areas where them rigs can safely pull over and wait out blizzards storms with icy slick roads I know I didn't have no fun driving in them in the winter time in my semi rig

Ready to harass and violate the rights of motorists across Wyoming. Seriously avoid driving through this desolate bleak state. Wyoming has the HIGHEST INCARCERATION rate in the USA: 1 in 48 residents in prison jail parole or probation. Sued this state twice--and won both times.
I was minding my own business driving through Wyoming in a rental car after having spent 2 weeks in California interviewing for a bunch of CLS jobs up and down the coast. I got hired and was on my way back to Michigan to pack up my stuff and be back in San Diego in 3 weeks to start work and got pulled over by a Trooper outside Cheyenne for supposedly speeding but was only doing like 82 in a 80 zone. He accused me of being a drug smuggler because I had a bunch of fast food wrappers in my car because I had basically been living out of it for two weeks while I interviewed. He made me sit in front seat of his car while he questioned me trying to find holes in my story but since there were none he was disappointed he had to let me go with a speeding (he refused to answer how fast i was going). He was a nice enough guy but it still kind of bothers me I was basically harassed just because I fit some kind of profile of a smuggler when reality is I was a healthcare worker who just landed a $60 an hour job in San Diego.
As a former Trooper with the Iowa State Patrol, I know a good outfit when I see one ! And thats what they are ! x296 ISP

Wyoming is un estado que yo nunca he visitado así que no podría decirte si es bueno o no pero si estás pensando en venirte aquí te recomiendo el sur como florida Georgia Texas ya que el clima es muy similar a mexico y hay mucha industria para trabajar. Puedes encontrar mucha información en Google. Suerte

Saw someone blow through a 4-way intersection this morning. I assume that the rule is that all vehicles in the 4 directions need to stop. In this instance the vehicles running N/S (the same direction as the bus) stopped but a vehicle running W/E did not stop. Scary stuff!

One of the few agencies in the US that understands the importance of single color flash. I noticed all your equipment flashes all red then all blue. Unfortunately I see too much purple haze around my area. Do you use take down lights in the front on traffic stops? What about low power mode at night?

Thanks for your service! When I become 18+ years old, I am going to move to the USA to become a Law Enforcement Officer. I am deciding between becoming a state trooper or a deputy sheriff/police officer. I currently live in Canada.
State trooper is far much better Pros/Cons - Pros = you get to patrol larger areas of the state that deputies nor officers can patrol, also you get to handle more seriousness of crimes like drug bust and wanted criminals, and my favorite is you get your own issued patrol vehicle which means you get to keep it clean for yourself and not have to share. Cons = being a state trooper means you have to be tough at all times because if things don't go as plan you have to protect yourself against the threat for 45 minutes close to an hour before your backup can come and assist you, another thing is that you have the right to assist deputy sheriff's or police officer in calls but they have to be like high risk calls or if your in the area and you can help out those type of calls because your primary objective as a trooper is making sure public roads are safe, and a MAJOR thing that is sad but apart of the job as a trooper is if you respond to an accident and one of the victims is killed you will have to drive to that persons home and inform them the death of a family had taken place letting know how it happened and if he/she was at fault that the sad part and if you come to the U.S. you can ask any trooper about that and I guarantee it will probably be some stuff you don't want to hear but have to. My goal is to become a Texas state trooper next year when I graduate from college. Also if you wanna see what the state troopers, deputy sheriff, and police officers do when you move to the U.S. do ride-alongs with those departments to see which best fits you. Thank you, good bye.
