@@everquestsolo i was a 11 year old kid, i had to pay a mage to teleport me there, then someone levitate me. i had to float all the way down to karnors castle. hung around to look for groups. outside and inside. i spent a good amount of time there. the zone and dungeon felt alive. i got lost in burning woods one time, and someone had to save me. i kept running and dodging those giants. it was traumatic times. my worse memory was in frontier mountains... i wasn't able to find the entrance to lake of lil omen or the overthere, i had about 12 minutes of spirit of wolf left, and there was a giant chasing me. i ran around the zone panicking and afraid, especially since my soul gate or soulstone whatever was far away in a different city. luckily, i was able to get out.

@@clintmurdock119 In Kael, root rotting is difficult because mobs break root frequently. Your server might be different.

True. I couldn't have tanked him very long anyway. I'm used to killing wall-pinned mobs with a shaman and just spamming my pet to back off.

It helps to land Malosini after Malo, then proc the Journeyman's Walking Stick. I can't remember if I did that during this fight, but I do it when I get a tough golem.

Thank you. Call of Karana breaks randomly. It tends to last longer if you debuff the pet first with Glamour of Tunare.

I don't have a high level mage, so I'm not sure. I've heard that a mage duo can take a lot of shit down, so adding a shaman could only make it stronger.

I mean, it doesn't look as bad as monk at that lvl range, even though at 60 I'd imagine monk gets easier?

@@Loug522 I don't have a high level monk, so I'm not sure on that. This would be difficult on a ranger without Swiftwind and Dark Cloak of the Sky. Hyan got those in the last few months. Very gear dependent.

Ah I see, most monks I talk say that their 50s are absolute hell so I ended up having the impression that rangers have an easier time during that stage.

@@Loug522I have a 60 Monk, Warrior, Paladin, Ranger and Rogue on p1999 (others as well, but that’s all my melee classes). Monk is by far the easiest melee class I’ve leveled. They have better avoidance, do better damage, and their epic is super accessible, unlike sky cloak which can be a pain, so 40% haste is all but guaranteed in the later levels. They also have way better weapon options. Super nice 2-handers which put out better damage and you eat fewer ripostes. The only thing that makes the ranger somewhat comparable is their main hand epic, Earthcaller. Even then, it takes an early proc to be comparable to the solo ability of a Monk and the stupid hate stone is a pain in the ass to get. Ranger does have the benefit of being able to root though if you pull two or more, but the Monk can just flop the aggro and try again lol

We've been raiding together recently then because I'm with Axiom. I don't expect you to know that because I play a lot of characters. What characters did you play in Vanquish?
