if you want 2 start with rs4 play the original trust me it´s a lot better
@@DMTTim honestly cant wait to dive deeper into it a lot of great games have a ricky start so nothing is written in stone for me yet
1) I'm sorry man, but I have to dock you points for not going back to check on the police car. You'd get a cutscene where Leon notices the skid marks made from the collision between it and the truck, and Leon peers over the ridge to find that both cars went over the edge and into the river below. 2) The name for the chainsaw man is Dr. Salvador, not Dr. Salazar. 3) The localization for the RE4 English script allowed ad-libbing in some instances. The 'bingo' line, for example? Ad-libbed. The Japanese line was a simple 'where is everyone going?' 4) Leon's snark may be the result of a coping mechanism, used to distance himself from trauma: it's made much more apparent in RE4 remake (with Krauser calling Leon out on it). Though I concede that some of Leon's lines like his comment to Hunnigan at the beginning probably didn't age all too well. 5) RE4 kind of knows it's a video game, in a sense. It leans into 90's and early 2000's action movie camp-iness, at times. Based on how you're viewing the game at this point, I don't think you're going to enjoy it as much as the remake that had more polish and tidying up put into it. Maybe I'm partially wrong and you'll have a respect for it at the end, but I anticipate more negativity before then.
@@Xiaolruc thank you for the comment and thank you for clearing all that up. I honestly didn’t know as I said I’m very new to this franchise and I totally get the love the fans have for the original resident evil four as that’s the one that they grew up with and who knows maybe by the end my mind will change. I’m always open to be proven wrong. I’m very excited to dive deeper into the original and see what surprises that has in store for me. And thank you for clearing up the name of the chainsaw man I’ll be sure to correct that in my next video please if you see any more inconsistencies feel free to correct me as I said I am very new to this franchise so I’m willing to be corrected.
The chainsaw guy is dr. Salvador ig.
@@haideralimir811 lol I got his name wrong 🤣 just shows you how new I am to the franchise
If you walk over to the broken bridge after you clear off the waves of zombies at the first phase of the game. The truck ran the car that brought you to the village off the bridge you drove over. But the remake was made better no doubt story has better ,it has better cohesion and feels more fit based on what’s happening presently in the game. It’s just preferences I like both games equally. You like Leon being a nice person and everybody likes him like being an asshole.Him being the way he was is the reason people liked him and if you watch any of the animated RE movies it’s pretty faithful to him as well.
@@caseydouglas412 thank you for clearing up the cut scene cause I genuinely didn’t know what happened and as far as Leon being an asshole, I understand that’s the OG like I said in my review, that’s what people grew up with and that’s perfectly fine however I did not grow up with resident evil. Yes, I was alive during that time. But I was more of a halo first person, shooter guy I’m just now getting to the resident evil series so I do not have any nostalgia attached to the original games
@ don’t worry man it’s good and I was also I halo guy too. Having friends with multiple systems gave me a taste of all the different gaming experiences so we were also there. Great video btw.
The game is insane. Both of them. In fact I started playing Dead Space Remake and 1 hour in i just can’t get into it bc it’s not RE4 lol. It’s good. But it’s not RE4. Great video.
Don't forget that the original RE4 was the first game in the genre of shooters with 3rd person perspective after which came all others, it was a turning point in the game industry
@@bulatgaynullin677 very true
you're forgetting Resident Evil: Dead Aim, which came out before RE4 and RE7. it used over-the-shoulder walking and first-person aiming
very good enjoyed keep it up
very cool looking game keep it up
suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuup
I honestly really like WW2 zombies, especially the the darkest shore map with the zombie slendermen in the fog. And I like how easy it is for me to get to round 20.
It's funny and kinda sad how Sledgehammer managed to fuck up every single attempt of a Call of Duty game.
The zombies mode was a mess for ww2 but the design was immaculate. Especially with the Pest zombies (skeletons that replaced dogs). Like you can't deny they POPPED OFF with their design Also Dr., Straub can be seen on all maps, just in specific locations
So you just don't understand the augments huh
Someone explained them to me after this video it makes a little more sense but I still like cold wars system better
You have to play these game modes when its popping off. Not when its dead. The devs were in streamer chats cheering along while they hunted eggs. The lobbies filled up fast every day. Some weapons when packed are basically wonder weapons. And going for hidden character challenges back when people were playing together to get them were some of the best times. Play ww2 zombies with 4 people and go for character challenges easter eggs and speedruns thats where the fun is.
COD WW2 and BO4 > any zombies game from Cold War and onwards. Change my mind!
I love WW2 zombies
Small thing on the eye color complaint on gorod - aside from the reason why being that they are controlled by the shadow man, its also worthwhile to note that it isn't weird or doesnt make sense because their eyes change color all of the time in previous zombie games. blue for richtofen, orange for maxis, and yellow for Samantha. It's a common visual change that any player who has even baseline knowledge of the previous games stories could immediately identify as "ah ok they being controlled by something else" which we can infer is the shadow man as he is the only big bad we had knowledge of at the time of gorods release.
1:36 it is definitely the scariest zombies experience
WW2 had the best art direction but some of the most questionable gameplay

Yo for less than 50 subs this is an amazing video keep it up definitely see you going some where
@@tannerlyon634 thank you so much!
The only cod zombies I didn't enjoy much where Cold war, and Vanguard. Its not that I hate the whole thing of zombies just how it was changed a bunch. Still a fun zombie mode, but got bored really easy for me since you already had loadouts so it almost made the box useless to me.
@@Scrubki11er06 I agree with that whole heartedly howerver I really do love Cold War zombies it’s genuinely one of my favorite however I do agree that it does make the mystery box useless

While I heavily disagree with ur take & video, I do respect ur opinion. Tho IMO, I think the hour long video would’ve been better than this 💀 or maybe pull a Jr Rizzo & just go halfway with 30 minutes
@@RIVAS2004 I appreciate your feedback this is only part one there is more to come unfortunately sometimes I simply don’t have time to make an hour long video
@@randogames2321 nah I feel you bruh, Currently working on doing a movie review of both DOOM movies & its a lot more work than just working on each one. I can’t imagine doing a franchise review with more than 3 movies yk? Or moreso a zombies mode review with 4 or more maps. But hope the best for ya bruh, I’ll definitely check out the next video when it comes!
@@RIVAS2004 appreciate my dude and I’ll be sure to check out your doom review keep up the hard work!
I think ww2 zombies tried to lean into the horror aspect of waw zombies that the later treyarch entries veered away from in favor of telling a more fantastical tale of ultimis/primis's adventures and final end. The lack of music and heavy emphasis on the zombies in ww2 being grotesque and mutilated, along with the story being pretty grim up until the last map works pretty well in that context.
@@michaelmcarthur2944 absolutely the biggest problem is how the game shifts in tone. It starts off as a very grounded version of zombies and becomes more fantastical as the game goes through the maps
Don’t ever cook again dude

4:52: ...Come again? Wander and Mono are both the same age, dude, it isn't a May-December Romance thing they had. Wander was designed to be 17-18 years old, and there's no reason to assume that Mono is any older than him.
darkest shore awesome map with fog its amazing ! bo3 ww2 cold war top 3
@@dreddaman I like the darkest shore of the fog wasn’t so interesting it would be the best zombies map of all time
It was good at the time brother. The jump scare/gore/horror aspect was a lot of fun at that time. It doesn't hold up now because everyone is once again full accustomed to brain melting BLOPS zombies.
@@bobbye7353 that’s a very fair point
Yeah you’re about a couple years late to the punch. You just get out of a coma?
@@ethical_trainer9422 just because it came out in 2017 dose not mean I can’t talk about it

@@neonrelmsproductions4224 cant understand why anyone would post this video. play the new game. not hard.
@ethical_trainer9422 Because people like to talk about video games, and making videos about older games is extremely common. Are you new to TH-cam?
12:14 "That's the point of the map." I dont think anyone said otherwise, just that they dont like it for that reason
Imma be honest there’s no problem with ww2 zombies
@@HighRoundZombi-g1h I welcome different opinions may I ask what’s your favorite part of it I’ll be sure to bring it up in my next video
@@randogames2321absolutely everything the scene and feeling of the map and the jumpscares and style of the zombies is more zombies than anything
@@sonohead1737 agreed the zombies in this game are top notch I be sure to bring up your argument in part two
I disagree honestly. It has a lot of problems with lack of personality, bad wonder weapons, decreasing map quality, directionless story, bland characters, and insane point costs on high rounds.
Nothing will ever convince me that they don’t make these filler games absolutely garbage so they can hype up newer games in the franchise and it’s just a cycle
@@aarowhead that is an excellent point I never thought of that I hope that’s not the case because as I said a lot of love clearly went into this
