This is a quick video of fishing at the Boneyard right next to Jekyll Island. This is a great location for Sheepshead because of all the barnacle covered structure. Not only can you get bait by picking mussels out of the barnacles, but it also acts like a chum line to call the fish right to you!

Went out to redeem myself after only catching a big bull shark on this trip last year. Finally I was successful! The fishing was tough, but we got the job done. The fight lasted wayyyy longer than I would have liked. These are the big breeding female redfish. So, I didn't want to keep the fish out of the water for too long after such a tough fight to the boat. Enjoy and thanks for watching!

While it is called Freshwater Bay it is actually saltwater. Explorers and smugglers would pull into this bay to refill their freshwater on land. This is footage from a tide pool on Washington's coast line. The sea anemones, starfish, assorted crabs, fish, and shellfish present in these pools was fascinating.

Took the whole family to fish for Salmon out of Sekiu Washington. We went out with Captain Randy Lato of Allways Fishing. He did a great job getting us on the fish and coaching us on how to reel in and land these tasty wild Salmon! We ended up with 1 Coho and 6 King Salmon. Just one fish short of our total limit! I am confident we could have gotten the 8th fish, but we cut the trip a bit short....

This place is like being in a real life fairy tale! It is absolutely stunning in it's beauty and very different compared to the rest of the United States. The whole Olympic Peninsula is amazing, but this is a must see attraction. Go early or late because they only allow so many people in at a time. 3-4 hour lines are common!!!

Right next to the Gulf Pier at Ft Desoto State Park are some ruins you can snorkel around. It attracts lots of different fish and critters. There were a ton of Snook around that day. We also saw Sheepshead, Mangrove Snapper, and my son saw a tiny Lionfish. The highlight of the day was when my wife picked up a shell and then felt a pinch on her hand. I went out on the 12 hour extreme trip aboard the Flying Hub II. This is an awesome trip for a chance to catch big fish! We went out around 70-100 miles offshore to fish for big Snapper and Grouper. We were dropping down to depths of 185-200 feet! It's a bit of a workout reeling up fish from that kind of depth!!! It was a great day and I ended up catching some nice fish.

We spent a long weekend in the Smokies kayaking and fishing. Some really nice fish were caught and great memories were made! We paddled all of our gear across Lake Fontana to camp at Backcountry site 86. From there we fly fished Hazel Creek, kayak fished the Lake, and hiked around.

I went out into the creek behind my house and started fishing. I was surprised at the amount of fish and different species! You won't catch a monster in these small creeks, but you can have a lot of fun. Grab an ultralight rod and reel, some lures, maybe a can of worms, and go have a blast!
