This is fantastic even though it’s a 1st for me. Anything from the 60’s or 70’s I’ll give a listen 👂 to. I was in High School 🏫 in 1973 and thanks for this wonderful gem 💎 I wished it would’ve been a hit. Not everything was played on 📻 FM radio if it was I don’t remember it. Great song 🎶 by the way.

Oh wow! I have this song by the HARLEM HAMFATS. They were a manufactured band, much like the Monkees, but in 1936 (when some record exec wanted to cash in on the growing crossover popularity of African American jazz artists like Satchmo and the goodtime blues of the jug band craze). They weren't even from Harlem, but they sounded like they were having a lot of fun and are fun to me. "Stick out your can" was some pretty racy humor for back then but it's just so quaint these days. But this band sounds more like they're trying to copy that jumpin' Louis Jordan, who came along a bit later; not very successfully but I love that they're trying, much like joe jackson would do in the early eighties- th-cam.com/video/4amyN1OgL_8/w-d-xo.html

I was intrigued by this record so I tried to track down their other single (there is no other like your mother/again and again) but while information about it exists I cannot seem to find audio of it anywhere on the internet. I tracked down recordings by a band called the thunderbolts which appears to be a previous incarnation of this band but nothing by The Aches 'N Pains except this video. Does anyone know where to find this recording without ordering an actual single of the song from overseas?
