I love the way TV used to be. Everything was resolved morally, and in a wholesome way, at the end of 60 minutes. Every generation says how innocent things used to be. I heard it from my mom & dad, who were born in the very early 1950's. And certainly from my grandfather. Born in 1912 (The same year the Titanic sank.) He didn't exactly say how innocent things were. But I got the idea through his stories. I feel so fortunate to have been witness to his tales. What a wonderful gift. However, it is such a stark contrast between my relative's experiences, my personal exposure of life. (I was born in 1974.) And the way things are now. Social media seems caustic, and corrosive. I wish we all could just go back to simpler times. We really don't need all of this information. I don't think humans are built for it. Not yet, anyway.
