I had one of these back in the 90s, I wasn't sure if it worked at the time and I got too impatient and threw it out - but now, at age 51, I've got these patches of missing hair from the areas where I used it! So it definitely works. I definitely wish I hadn't of thrown it out, had I persisted, I would be totally hair free by now, I used it on my legs, underarms, and on my bikini line . So I have patches missing from all these areas ! If I recall, it does take quite a while, like you've got a hold the device, tweezers, on each individual hair for 20 seconds or something. Good for young girls who aren't that busy and just sit around,they can just do this while vegging out! Perfect for a 16 year-old birthday present or Christmas present. I don't think this review did a justice.

Sad that the first review which comes up for this product on TH-cam is by someone who failed to even read the instructions! It’s important to do lots of research before using a system as invasive as home electrolysis on your skin.

There's a reason people go to school for this this machine has one needle and stays lit the whole time meaning the second you inserted or even touch your skin it's already burning you the electricity should not be sending a current until you are completely inserted into the follicle with a sterile brand new needle wiping a needle with alcohol is not sterilization all it is is wiping down a dirty needle with alcohol I do not recommend any of this this machine is a joke amongst electrologists if you're really hard up and broke go to a school and get a discount on your treatments but do not buy this machine it's a piece of junk and you're going to end up with scar tissue especially if you're using it on your face

I did carpentry work for Princeton University for eleven years when I was younger. I can figure out ANYTHING if it’s mechanical. Anything that is, EXCEPT how to open a closed plastic shower curtain hook. Out of pure frustration, I googled this and saw the video. Thank you Sooooo much for solving this mystery for me!!!

Try a little heat from a hairdryer to release. Try a little dab of oil to snap together.
