Hi! I’m in Orlando too - there’s a book club called Main Street book club which meets at the Disney parks if that’s something that interests you! I don’t have annual passes, so I don’t go to that one, but I started going to a different book club this year for the first time by myself and have ended up making so many friends and it’s been a highlight of my year. 🥰 Also not my Alexa telling me what time it is also 😂😂

I am so glad that Bethany Baptiste has book clubs reading her book and having her come speak. Her publishing journey has been so hard. An author faked several bad reviews for her book and several others. Then her book was delayed by like 2 or 3 months and then released the same day as Blood at the Root, so she didn't even get her own day for hype. Then I heard her publisher dropped her, so I don't know if we will get more from this world. So I love seeing her get some love.

Cool 😎 I got invited to Barnes and nobles bookclub, the moderator personally invited me based on my book purchases ❤. And I have yet to take them up on the offer I was afraid 😳 to go, but now you have given me the confidence to take them up on the offer and meet new people and be involved in an actual book club.

I wanted to love Wreck the Halls, because I love fictional celebrities too, but there was almost NO Christmas vibes in that one! It’s not a horrible story, but I hate that they marketed it as a Christmas book! 😅 I’m putting some of these on my tbr. Thank you!

such a good book haul! I am not a christmas girl as i lost my dad in 2013 and he loved the holidays so i cant wait for christmas to be over. just another day for me. But my toddler makes the holidays more exciting! I call it winter holidays and going to try and read more books that take place in the winter. :)
