Better than any team that did win the world cup. And by the way. It is more difficult to win with a country of 15 million people. In 1954 too, the most remembered team was Hungary, who lost to Germany as well. The only difference is that the germanian team in 1974 was better
1954 and 1982 as well. But that German team is remembered. They beat that Swedish team the Durch couldn't beat and beat the Dutch as well

El único error de Holanda en la final del 74' fue aflojar en el segundo tiempo, por eso perdió el título.Pero fue realmente un deleite ver jugar.....

Watching this Holland 1974 team still gives me goosebumps!
A brilliant side. I don't remember the '74 WC as only 6 at the time but have vague memories of the following World Cup in Argentina where the Netherlands got to the final again loosing to Argentina. That team was very impressive too though not quite so special as Cryuff didn't play in that tournament.

Everywhere I was in the world and I spoke people they always mention Cruijff and never Zidane, that how big Cruijff is in the world and that has nothing to do where I am from.
