My ninja 400 feel slow =/ cars beating me

@azmaymi9237 i started riding 1000cc with 15yo so i'm not the best guy to give advise on "when did i start speeding and all that" xD but go slow, you will gain experience with time, if you rush it you probably will crash. If you want to go fast, first start in highways or open spaces and do little pulls so you can gain knowledge on how the bike behaves and how you react to it, sooner or later you will ride it pretty easily 😉

Lmao 1st of, speak english cuz im not from your country. 2nd its rare that a motorcycle kills someone in a crash with a car. 3rd, i've never had a crash that was my fault or because of my speed. 4rd, this is a common road used by bikers to do at some good speeds, so if you are not portuguese, why do you try to be a karen if you don't know how we do it here 🤷🏻‍♂️ portugal is the safest country for bikers in europe

@@2PatOWSC I have drive more than 40 years Al kind of motorcycles and have driven more than 15.000 km every year in every country of Europe and with that experience I can tell you, if you always drive like this, there will comes a moment that you will feel very sorry !! @jeroenmeijer19 i appreciate that you worry about me! Here in portugal, it's really different than other countries, people are used to bikes racing in highway so if you can read cars movement really well you are a bit safe, still not really safe but a bit because bikes are always hard to see in mirrors especially speeding. But I don't ride like that anymore, I've grown up a bit so now I just do national roads that are empty to enjoy twistie roads 😁

Honestly at that time i was still learning, what you should train is the timing of popping the clutch and the impulse of your arms, every first wheelies the moment you get the front wheel up (even by a little) just brake with rear brake and with practice you will be able to get the wheel at a good height from the ground

Also happened on mine (2-3 times per season) but i think it can be a human mistake for ex. not fully pressed clutch or not enough foot “force”. But you can buy a gear shift support, i heard the work well. Cheers

Zero Gravity Double Bubble windscreen

I prefer this one for the looks and aerodinamic, i think this will have a better top speed but its not that big of a difference, choose what u prefer the most. And no windscreen will decrease your full consumption in a noticeable way.

With the screen, ecu flash, tune, and slip on what would you expect in terms of top speed? I know weight plays a role in this.

@@noobrider8776 i would expect around 215/218km/h depending on how much you weight, in my case i weight 80kg and with austin racing slip on and windscreen (without ecu flash) i did 215km/h on a downhill, if you weight around 80kg too with that setup plus evu flash u can maybe do around 218km/h. Mine now is doing 208km/h cuz i installed headers without catalyst which increase torque but reduce top speed

Nah its not because it gets foggy cuz i have pinlock so that doesnt happen, its because my visor is dark asf and it was hot so it feels good to take with the air in the face 🤣

Yes, maybe gps would be like 230 or a bit less but it's still a lot, he reduced the tyre width and put a rear sprocket with less teeth which cause a worse acceleration but better top speed.

Yes your guess is right, if the bike is all stock its around 170km/h. Yes you can put it doing 230 but u have to change the sprocket relation and by that it can take a bit more time to achieve higher speed. My honest opinion is to leave the sprockes relation as they are and just do a ecu flash with a racing airfilter and a good slip on

Thats a good question, it kinda depends on what money u got, if you want to spend less and have a more confortable bike i would go for the ninja 400, it has a lot of power, even tho its just 80cc more than the r3 its a really really big difference. If you have a lot of money to spend and u want that big amount of torque r7 is better. But if you end up choosing the 400 u always have the option to put a slip on and do a remap (ecu flash), and trust me ... after that the 400 becomes an animal xd i already race some mt07 and my 400 has the same power, it just has less torque

@@2PatOWSC Thanks for the info bro 👍. The cost of buying one isn't an issue but maintenance may be so I'm assuming the 400 is much cheaper than the R7. Top end wise I'm curious what you think that max of a 400 would be if you had all the upgrades needed? Keep up the awesome work 👊💯🔥!

@@noobrider8776 if you dont change your sprocket top speed will be the same even with upgrades so its around 215/217, but u can put it doing 220/225 easily, with those mods and without losing a lot of acceleration (the more top speed u put the less acceleration, if u put more acceleration u lose top speed, u have to find a nice balance with your mods)

@@noobrider8776 r3 is more track ready but on highway it doesnt reach high speeds so easy like the n400, r3 its awesome bike but it depends where u want to use it, if u he goes more to twisties roads its better the r3 (when i say better is with both bikes stock), if he goes more to the highway n400 is better and its worth it

In this video yes, it was only austin racing slip on and zero gravity db bubble windscreen. I didnt test it with gps, but i would guess its around 205/207 when i'm dojng 215km/h. And I weight 80kgs ahah 😁

Really good, i can say that its the best, the only problem is that it is a bit expensive for a windscreen compared like to a aliexpress one. When i had my bike stock, i could only to 205/207km/h, after installing the windscreen i did +211km/h

If you didn't change anything on the bike yeah probably something is wrong with it, ninja 400 should do at least do 190 if u are heavy

unless u are changing gears to soon, but even doing that it should go above 160

Hey, I got it diagnosed, my spark was fried. It was not giving good enough spark. I got it changed and not it’s running as smooth as my legs after I shave them.

@@2PatOWSC Oh! They have given mirrors on a bike for a reason. You should start using them

@@jnana1985 mirrors distract u a lot of times, mirrors reflect the sun on your face when u drive on a bike, have a lot of blind spots so i kinda prefer using my head, i learnt that way. The only reason i see in using them is when u stop at a red light so nobody hits u from behind

It is ahah its a really fun bike even for highway, if you like twisties i garantee u will have a lot of fun and u can outrun a lot of bikes too, even the cops but that depends where u live ahah :D

Not really because everybike has a rpm limiter, this one happens to be 2k rpms into the redline, so if its sold like this is because its safe for the engine, of course u shouldnt ride all the time in the redline, but in changing gears and highway runs u can do it sometimes
