Awesome job Dustin.
Couldn’t have asked for a better representative for a duct cleaner. Unless you’re living in Richmond or willing to pay to cart him across the country, you’ll never get a duct cleaner like zach. But many of us still do great work, just fewer toys.
Great conversation guys.
Yesss! I can’t make it but I know you’ll have a blast!
I'm a small custom home builder and Cody is my HVAC company. He's great to work with.
Your a lucky man!!! Thanks for watching 👍
I need your coaching services NOW!
Deal!
Nothing stops like a Trane wreck
@@petersonfam77 it definitely not as reliable as 10 to 20 years ago, but I think any unit would die under that static pressure. The return was super small.

Put boiling water in the pan, or you'll be back in a month to do the same thing . That's why it keeps surging

Is that algae buildup?
@@seanmatal2383 its multiple bacteria that build a biofilm. I use biofilm remover by highside chemicals. Grass bacteria and pond bacteria. Wash hands thoroughly
@@thehvacgrapevine5225 I recently installed a mini split on our house and I keep getting a bunch of that build up on my line and I'm hoping that it don't build up clear back to the drain and plug it up I can't find a access to get to the drain on the mini split from the inside
@@seanmatal2383 fit a shop vac on the drain line outside with some duct tape. You can go inside. Remove the filter and use a spray bottle with warm water keep rinsing and repeating.
@thehvacgrapevine5225 just spray on the coils I am guessing??? I will try the shop vac. I disconnected the outside drain line and rinsed the line going inside with some bleach water and a ton of that stuff came out I am hoping I got most of it!
@@seanmatal2383 those units have the worst filters!! Its sad Dust goes by the filter They turn into mold boxes in my area
Hi guys!
Hey broski!!!
That's a little big ass fan 😆 made right here in Lexington KY

Didn’t you do well! Mummy and daddy must be so proud of how intelligent you’ve become.

👍
Commercial is usually set up for .05+
Reach down, pull up, and tack it back in place before filling the gaps with foam
Man you need to crawl up underneath and repair that if there is access. That a rig job you are putting your name on.
This was a video for the homeowner. I don’t fit under the house, but at least the homeowner knows that it needs to be repaired . Its really tight.
Woah you’ve got my attention here I can figure what’s going on but is this your business or your home and your own the machine? I need something like this done I doubt your in my area but I wasn’t even aware of this
Im in Florida. This is my business. Tell me what state and county and ill try to get someone there 👍😎
Жесть мужик, поставь нормальную дверь обратно и просто включи вентилятор
I usually see somewhere between .005-.010 inch water column positive in commercial buildings. These units usually have building, duct and outside reference tubes though to maintain that. .1 seems a little high
Thanks!
For reference my house right now is under .2 inches of water column positive pressure
That’s .1inWC that’s barely even a measurement. Now turn off all the thermostats and run your test again the HVAC equipment is probably running through the economizers pressurizing the building outside air force inside air outside. What are you doing for you to ask if this is normal or not? Context helps.
Ac is on 👍 yes
Notmal?
Damn! Fat fingers
WOW look at that bush! 😂

Yep, needs some cleaning.
I’m about to buy what some call “The Bible of HVAC”, Stanfield’s Fundamentals of HVACR. I gotta say that I’m more interested in this book than RACT because I believe it’s 2900 pictures compared to 400, and it at least SOUNDS LIKE Stanfield’s book is more suited for developing lessons in a better teaching sequence, whereas RACT sounds more thorough in an encyclopedia/reference type way. Anyway, so I see that they now even have a 4th edition as of 2022 (3rd edition was 2016)…I don’t really care about having the “Latest and greatest”, I’m not concerned about the need to touch on brand new advancements, I am way more concerned about nailing down the basics!!! I can focus elsewhere for latest technologies. Also, I have some experience where it seems like a “Newer edition” of a book tried to do too much, and turned out to be not as good as a prior edition (but then something the newer edition IS the better one). In your opinion, do you think that one of the 4 editions stands out as having the best teaching flow to it? And if so which one? Or are they all pretty equal in quality? Thanks. I have no problem buying an older book, if the older one had a better teaching flow to it!
What a mess!
It's alive!
What program is that?
Trane has a app for just their 17,18,&20 seer equipment with a TamX air handler
👍 Was that white lithium grease?
Lol yesss sir! Thats all i had 😆
It was rough here in San Francisco. I’m trying to say hydrated and out of the 69°F sweltering, strong sun.
I can't wait for November when it's 89 degrees here in Texas
@@SpicyTexan64 same here!
😅. That is tight, a tight pool pump set up, I'm assuming. Commercial is like this all the time. Some of the shit we do to get to units is ridiculous
This one was ridiculous for sure!!!! Lol
Its a void that leads to the attic. So the it needs insulation so you dont lose your ac in the summer or heat in the winter. What i dont understand is why they didn't make that part of the closet.
I agree , its a weird one
Explain to everybody watching why an interior wall needs insulation
Sound proofing?
Thoroughly blow out evaporator, pipe wiper on the line set, cut out old suction filter, do what else ya gotta do. Confirm equipment AHR match... any other weird conditions? Extremely long/wrong size lineset?
Cover up the feature with the text .. and make sure to wave the camera everywhere. ✅
What is the old evaporator and suction line filled with nearly the entire charge of refrigerant oil or the last two compressors refrigerant oil charge And then when the brand new compressor was fired up ingested 60 ounces solid slug of liquid oil
T&M or flat rate?
