With all the tabloid type trash that is constantly being posted about Desi and Lucy which mostly is here say, and I wish it would stop, this video is proof of the love and chemistry between them. Flash forward about 40 years and in Lucie Arnaz' home video of Desi and Lucy in the pool with one of their grandchildren you can see they still had it. Thank you for this posting. I would love to see more positive clips if they become available.

My husband Jorge and I have been watching “I Love Lucy” episodes ever since we got together back in 1991. We often quote lines from all four characters from the series in our everyday conversations , like Ricky’s saying, “And I hope this’ll does it.” 😀 We are two gay men who LOVE Lucy! Greetings from Querétaro, México, where we have been living with our sweet Golden Retriever Buddy for over two years now. :-) Jody Quillian

@1:32...l'm not surprised she wanted to date Ralph Hart. And when she talked about kissing him...well!!! Lucy was protective of her children. I often wondered why Ralph was often placed on "the back burner". That may be the reason. I felt he might have resented it, 'cause l read he never showed up for any of the "Lucy" reunions.

John Gilbert was the victim of one of the greatest calumnies in film history, viz, that his voice was not good enough for talking films. In truth, he had a superb voice, very reminiscent of Ronald Coleman’s, so warm, it was cool as morning air in early summer. A brilliant man.

That was great! She had me laughing so many times, with "Miss Arballs" and "I haven't been feeling well lately". I watched The Lucy Show as a kid in the 1960s, as well as reruns in later years, and came to recognize all of the supporting actresses on the show, including Carole Cook. She was in a movie from 1963 called "Palm Springs Weekend", sort of a west coast version of "Where the Boys Are", and she played 9 year old Billy Mumy's mother. Just last week I was watching a rerun of Maude and Carole Cook was in it playing Walter's ex-wife who was marrying Maude's uncle and, after seeing this, I think she wore the dress with the fur collar that Lucy gave her. It was a very 1950s style dress and the Maude episode was from about 1974. And then I come across this video. Thank you! edit: It just occurred to me to do a google search and I found a picture of Carole Cook from the Maude episode and it does look like she is wearing the dress she got from Lucy. Here's a link to the page, hope it works: www.kennethinthe212.com/2020/04/maude-broad.html
