Gridiron studios puts a lot of thought and effort into the accessories that they produce. Hasbro on the other hand is Hit or Miss the a.w.e striker looks like Large Marge horrendous 🫣!!!

I don’t troop build but the Tele-Viper will be less expensive than the trubble bubble for those who do, so there’s that I guess. I usually buy 2 of everything, one to display and one to leave MIB. I don’t do the legacy figures and the divers are basically along those lines so will skip them. I do want the M.A.S.S. Canister though. For those of us of a certain age, the M.A.S.S. Device series took our G.I. Joe fandom and injected it with a mother load of steroids. Like, all the steroids. But if you didn’t see it until you were an adult I can see why you find it pretty meh.

That version of Cover Girl is seen in the MASS Device story line, so she's tangential to the other MASS figures.

None of them are interesting to me but that hat and cloak seem great.

The thing that keeps me optimistic about the line is that everything is designed by fans like us. Sure, Hasbro could always eff it up but at least the people who would be fighting against that are huge marks like us.

I think I'm a little more conservative than even you. For me its Storm Shadow, Snake Eyes, Jinx....and that's it. MAYBE a small faction of Cobra ninjas like the Night Creepers (although I always hated that corny name) but other than that I don't want to see any more Ninjas. Its too much. My favorite comic book as a kid other than G.I. Joe was The 'Nam (also by Marvel - remember that one?) because it was realistic. I know some won't agree with me but in my opinion Hasbro destroyed the whole essence and lifeblood of G.I. Joe with the whole ninja/eco/toxic/space/zombie nonsense. Hopefully Hasbro doesn't go down that same road again and although I don't collect toys now I think they have something good going with this Classified stuff. DON'T ruin it again. Stick with M-16's and camouflage....it is what made G.I. Joe legendary to begin with.

I have a few random figures, but I'm mostly in it for the Dreadnoks. If we get, Monkeywrench, Thrasher(with Thundermachine) and Zanzibar. I'd be out. I might hold out for a Burnout and Heartwrencher.

I want to see all the ridiculous stuff, this was what I saw at KB toys. Like as long as Hasbro keeps giving us great figures I'll stick with the line. But for the sake of the line hopefully they keep the real crazy stuff for comic con

The 80’s were the decade of the ninja. The Eric Van Lustbader, novels, Sho Kosugi movies, Stephen Hayes ninja martial arts, the Hand in Daredevil, TMNT, etc. it only made sense that Gi Joe would lean into it since there were clues in the early issues that Snake Eyes had some type of exotic training that allowed him to regulate his heartbeat. The problem occurs when every other person is a ninja and all the mystery is taken out of being one. Even though Snake Eyes is by far my favorite character he should be used sparingly like when his special infiltration talents are required or the crap has hit the fan and they need him to pull off a miraculous save.

Bright colors was the biggest downfall. From a person who spent 23 years on active duty status for the Army, I couldn’t imagine going into war with neon 😂. The Dreadnoks could have easily filled the void instead of the ninjas. I’ll collect until the exo squad comes out but damn we need more vehicles too

It gets frustrating as we get older and the company caters to a younger audience. They should stay away from bright colors and stick to the combat original designs. Maybe invest in the cartoons again and then release figures. I miss the morning and after school cartoons. Maybe even invest in a video game. I'm just saying

I feel the same way about ninjas in G.I.Joe as I do about Jedi in Star Wars. They're cool in small doses, but I'm far more interested in non-mystical guys who go into combat with guns and vehicles.

New sub, great thoughts on the classified line, I feel like hasbro has no excuse for not putting vamp sized vehicles on the shelf . I see Hugh boxes of Legos on the shelf at target that seem to have dust on the top. Nice diorama you make also.

Night Viper is my favourite Cobra. I've been patiently waiting for him for four years! Rock Viper is a very cool figure too. One of the best of the '90s. I don't care about any characters that weren't in the original ARAH lineup. But if they do make them in Classified, and they look good, I might pick them up. I want Undertow, ToxoViper, Annihilator and Incinerator. And H.E.A.T Viper! I was a bit obsessed with him as a kid. A bit of an oddball with his asymmetrical helmet and crazy colours, but I loved him and his humongous bazooka. As far as drivers, I badly want Strato Viper and W.O.R.M.S. Hopefully the Maggot gets a Haslab.

Solid choices

You had a lot of great choices but Me I would give at LEAST an Honorable Mention to Leatherneck V3 or as he is better known Giraffe Pants Leatherneck. I admit I was never in the military and I know that a lot of Joes have uniforms that seem to defy logic and toe the line on regulation but Giraffe Pants. Even as a civilian I wouldn't be caught in public wearing those.

Big disagree on JVC, at least on the designs. The original designs are great, but the finished figures suffer from poor factory communication , changes to fit shoulder sizes, and technology limitations at the time.

Nice video, yeah the Joe Vs. Cobra stuff was the dark times of G.I. Joe. Why is Storm Shadow v2 with the Cobras?

Hasbro stated they are gonna throttle down on action figures and concentrate on gaming. Guess they got lucky with Monopoly Go so they think they are gonna be video gamenmakers now.

Your Destro choice is cool, but I'd remove the cobra logo (even though it looks good on the figure) Iron Grenaders were Destro's private army and not part of Cobra. So in IG attire the cobra logo feels off. Part of what made this line cool was that they weren't just new Vipers.

Most of the JvC valor/venom line figure sucked.

This list is great, but for me everyone got tainted and it made me leave the line before the ninja force came out. Like the blue with red goggles Snake Eyes. I'm just not into different versions of original characters I guess

I wonder how many of these awful figures are cheap figures purchased from other toy lines and rebranded as well known GIJOE characters.

In better colors that Firefly could work.
