Do not care for the hahahaha as he swings the sword, however this actually is a superior port compared to the excellent (8 Mega Memory!) Genesis version. More details, better resolution, color pallette is higher, voices during cutscenes, superior sound quality. My biggest gripe with the Genesis version is the poor collision detection. Is this port better in that aspect as well? Well done. I have never beaten this on my first try/life. Such a short, but sweet game.

Great port except for the addition of Strider saying "HA!" every time he attacks. That gets old instantly! 😆

Own the arcade 1up bought it out at my local Walmart store paid $400 for it actually $429 after tax but the OG cabinet will always be a classic nice game play by the way

Was this remake made using something like Game Maker? Looks awesome, tho it could've used more parallax on the bg's.

Would ❤ to see Altered Beast evolve into a game which plays closer to Castlevania.

I really don't know why not putting, as last transformation for Stage 5, the GOLDEN WEREWOLF like the original game, and leaving his energy blasts in blue coloured.

It's a good game just a tad short. Delaying your transformation grants you a higher score.

I always used to like how when you destroyed the Shock Troopers, their shoes flew off

This was a pretty fun game to play when I was a kid

Crazy how he developed super moves over time. I hope they remake this but keep it as close to original game as possible

You make lots of noob mistakes, it's like this was your first time playing the game, yet you managed to 1cc it, to my account you should have died at the 2nd boss....weird, like, suscribed.
