@designslidertech first of all I really appreciate your response. The problem I am encountering is when I try the "user controlpasswords2 " it's not giving me the chance to reset password because I think my account is tied to a MS account

If you have internet connection, and it says you're offline, try a Power Hard Reset to fix that. Press and HOLD the Power Button 🔘 for about 30 seconds. Of course, the device goes off. Then, after 30 seconds, pull out the battery (only if you can, and if you know how to refix the battery.) But if you cannot do the battery thing, it's okay. Just leave your device off for another 1 minute, then Power ON the device. Let me know if this works for you.
