I'm with you guys, sick of winter and being cold already. Tired of layers and puffy coats and static hair from hats and trying to work with gloves on. And it's only January 🙁.

it is so hard to work in the cold and I think anything below 40 as cold. We finally got above freezing yesterday late morning and this morning it was 27, much warmer than your temps. Thanks for sharing.

We are having a heatwave this week 30 degrees is projected. Michigan weather was ridiculously negative degrees 😒 😮I 6 believe how much wood we burned. I moved to Munich Germany several years ago. People told me - oh, it'll be so cold there. I grew up in Missouri. It got cold there and still does. Since being here and hearing the Krämers talk about their weather, generally speaking (always exceptions) it doesn't drop that often below freezing here and then not for long. No, I'm not going to play the global warming game. Just a comment.

Set up a make shift bed to spend the night in the house.

Nice but way to big. A doghouse should be big enough for the dog to stand , and enough room for him to turn around , so their body heat can warm it. You'd need about 4 dogs in each of those for them to heat up.

You might sneak treats inside their doghouse, and they might pick up those scents. They may get used to walking in and looking around for a treat and stay eventually. ❤❤

You NEED to have your flooring installed prior to cabinets in the kitchen if you want to do that project correctly! Kitchen cabinets get attached to the wall when they're installed. Even if you have some sort of oddity for cabinets you still need to have your flooring installed underneath them first. If you don't want to install the flooring product you're using under the entire area under the cabinets you can use underlayment of the same thickness as your flooring under the cabinets instead. But you must have the flooring extending under the front few inches of the footprint of the cabinets.

Those are some big dog houses. Jim does fantastic work. That was very smart to make the roof slide off if needed. Cleaning, painting, repairing and for sick dogs or strange animals.
