So awesome to hear him bring up Nic. I don’t think mod to realize that Nic began touring with geneisis as their full time drummer at freakin 16…I’m sure he had been playing with them even longer…but wasn’t official til then- which is huge for an adult, let alone a kid. He also can play several instruments and sings too. So yeah…he has likewise talent of his father- maybe even more for that age! It’s so cool he went on your with them for those years- being able to spend time with his dad and his surrogate family. He’s surrounded by such legends…combined with his talent..it’s going to be wild to see his creations too ultimately.

Although Leland Sklar is a GREAT session bass player, his participation in more than 2000 albums makes him, in my humble opinion, worthy of the respect of the music industry and a place in the ROCK AND ROLL hall of fame.

What I find unfortunate about you Leland, you don't reply to any fan yourself, even though you think you are speaking directly to each of us. What a pity! The business is between us. You've been through corona with us and should actually know. No chance, I know your agents do everything, always and to perfection. Not my world.

I'm not speaking for Leland but for myself, Denny Tedesco. I've never known anyone like Leland Sklar. He has no agents and does everything himself, including gardening and everything else. If he hasn't returned any response, it's because he gets 100s of emails and notices a day. I know because I've traveled with him.

@@immediatefamilyfilm Thank you for your reply. I don't know what I can believe in the www, but somehow I trust your words. I don't want you to misunderstand me. I am sad about the lack of communication, I am proud of Leland's accomplishments. Give him my best, a fan from southern Germany. All the best to you.

Lee is such an under appreciated musician. His bass licks are on some of the most influential music in history. And I could never imagine my life without Phil's music. What a dynamic duo. Oh and I want to give a major shout-out to Nick for following in his father's footsteps in music.

Well...we produicers do have our musician switches too, only difference is they're imaginary. A musician goes "can you make the cymbals just a tiny bit more airy in my headphones?", then you just put your hands on the console and the musician goes "perfect! right there right there! don't move it!, wow man now this really sings, now I can play a good solo over this".
