Ok. I just did this on adidas spezial, when i put them on allready feel like so much more comfortable, will test them for a walk, but on first feel like game changer, before whole feet hurt and heel pressure in during walks

They said I couldn’t wear these for fencing. But they didn’t know I bought a half size up, and wear the thickest superfeet orthotic insoles for extra comfort + stability. En garde, coward.

Genius! This is not something I would usually do, especially for a new pair of expensive shoes, but your instructions looked simple so I gave it a try on a new pair of Handball Spezials that were quite uncomfortable with this high arch. Was really easy, and I didn't even take the whole sole out, just lifted that area and scraped the white foam insert of the sole. Used a hair-dryer for a few seconds too, to remove the final bits. Much more comfortable. Thanks so much

If you put your finger you can remove only this white part very easily,just roll it

These have been in my closet for almost 10 years. My son is now wearing my size but these were unwearable. Thanks for the mod and now i may buy him his own pair. A lil piece of foam can cause so much uncomfort! Mine took a lot of ripping as adheasive was old and made it difficult to remove.

I just recently threw away my pair from the 90s as they had totally fallen apart and were covered in mold. Made me sad. I did buy the re-release a few years ago but the suede on it was different from my old pair. A lot fluffier and the star wasn't as vibrant or as distinct because of the messy nap. I bought a pair recently online from the Target line from 2008 and that pair has the star design on the front rubber part. Thinking about forking out the dough to buy a 90s pair again. I just thought that it was kinda funny that when I bought my first pair in the 90s, the first thing I did was go outside and get them dirty in grass and dirt on purpose. Grunge era and all. No one wanted bright white, new looking sneakers. Nowadays, kids keep their sneakers sparkling white. Guess it's better for the retailers as you have to buy new pairs more often.

Is the high arch support important for soccer (in a way that it prevents certain injuries)? I bought a pair for indoor soccer specifically and the arch support is killing my feet, but I'm not sure if I should simply wear them in some more because the support is important or if I should rip it out..
