    Excellent video. Who knew it was that easy! But being as I can't work magic, how does one access your stamps, assuming of course that you sell them.

    Right down to the basics. If you can't figure out that the skill acquired after years of effort rather than the technique of doing it is where the magic comes from, you'll need to order a new magic wand. Fun video!

      The only difference really is more annealing with sterling than with fine both soften up well. One just work hardens faster.

    P.S., hey Cody, after re-reading my comment, it sure didn’t come out right but I just wanted to add, that I bought your Stamp Clamp as soon as you started selling them and I love it! I still use it as a guide because it works wonderfully. I wish I had your bracelet clamp because I make more cuffs than anything else but haven’t saved up enough money yet. Hmmm, how about a trade in? 🫣😬 Also, I hope all is going smoothly with your move. I can’t imagine doing it easily, I mean you have lots of heavy duty studio items to move as well as have a beautiful big family to move too. I’m sure you’ll be glad when you’ve gotten settled in. ☮️&💟 👩🏼‍🎨🌵🔨

    • @buffalorutland5677
      @buffalorutland5677 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      For a shot plate you will want a steel force tool, we sell them on our site, lead is used for impression dies the form sheet metal but still need a steel pusher to move the lead.

    Hey there, I got a set of impress art stamps off ebay (used) , a font I've wanted forever called CANTERBURY, and I tried them yesterday and they have got to be worn out because OMGOODNESS, the M and a few others I cant tell what it is after stamping. The edges do look extremely worn, there just isnt that clean edge around the letters. What if anything can I do to refurbish them myself? Something that doesnt require special tools, I'm pretty macgyver-ish, mechanically inclined, and crafty (ambidextrous), so any advice would be greatly appreciated!

    • @buffalorutland5677
      @buffalorutland5677 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      We always recommend contacting the manufacturer of the stamps as im not sure how theirs are made, that being said with the proper safety equipment and and some burs using a flex shaft you might be able to fix the edges. Proceed with caution as working with hardened metals is dangerous.
