A Lullaby that I improvised this evening.... I felt an overwhelming sense of gratefulness for all these wonderful people (family, friends...) that I'm surrounded by, today. On top of that I was part of an online masterclass by Brad Mehldau that inspired me a lot. Hope to give you a little bit of love and peace with this short piece of music.

Here is a solo by the great jazz guitarist Peter Bernstein that I transcribed 8 years ago during my bachelor. I still love this solo. His lines are always connected to the melody and contain some interesting harmonic concepts. Excellent ! Carry on ! I love roots music. Just a question, I am learning the double bass, would you give the kind of strings (metal, gut or nylon?) are used here and with wich mic/pickup ? The sound of the bass is very good. Thanks

Hey man, sorry for the late response...I play gut strings on a semi-plywood bass from China. Actually the strings really make the sound. Since I switched to gut, I had to develop my style of playing from there, because it's so different to other strings. Only the E-string is still a wrapped synthetic, because plain gut E-string are sooo thick! Have a nice time, cheers, Jojo
