They aren't what they used to be, but characters like Seer & Horizon CAN counter the meta in certain scenerios, it just requires good precision with the characters and a good set up (ex. Horizon is going to be useless in closed areas). I've just found it too inconsistent. I find myself using Newcastle as a full support/counter pick and end up with a lot of circle KP sometimes. Intentionally holding my ultimate and countering another newcastle's wall with my own is very satisfying tho lmao

A literal EMP gated behind an ULTIMATE that's also gated behind a TACTICAL that can be destroyed while the character CANT MOVE OR SHOOT just to do 50 damage (that can be full healed with a single shield cell now) and not able to destroy any of these shields or devices is absolutely incomprehensible to me.

Yeah me too! Kinda wish E-District was around, but the map rotation is solid.

Huge respect to you as a player for picking up a legend like Newcastle before he was meta 😎 I'm not usually someone who hard follows meta, but playing Newcastle is fun for me and I could see myself playing him even if he isn't meta again.

Aye that's great. It takes a whole less bullet at all armors except white now I think. Though, fortified newcastle still survives that extra shot smh. It's weird, right now I don't think there's a super hard meta on primary weapons, just secondary meta with shotgun and primary is a bit more flexible (though usually an AR). I like using range, but I do think it's a bit difficult in the revive reset meta, so I respect you using it 😎

Honestly can't believe there wasn't a lot of Titanfall content out the gate this season. All the signs pointed to it and they fumbled so hard.

Skirmisher only scanning packs is wild lmao. I don't want them to overbuff skirmisher, but I could see them doing class buffs to them next season similar to this.

one thing i would like them to add back is seers heal and revive cancel that would make a huge counter to the support meta and also give him some use rate atleast

@@TruthIsTrying Buffing supports made it very difficult as a solo q player. I'm constantly running into teams with triple supports and having 2 noob teammates makes it impossible for us to win. I get on and get off after a few games.

Yeah that’s true, LMGs reload so fast with that perk! They buffed LMG’s which is cool for rampart, but I generally don’t think LMG’s go the best for her considering the minigun, and would like her to have an alternate option(s), and I thought it fit her lore. I definitely would value the additional ammo to other guns more than the reload speed. I probably would back off of ALL guns thinking more about it, though lol

I was playing him last season a lot. 30 second ult cooldown is so fun and honestly undervalued by many players. I PROMISE YOU even pred/pro players get tripped up by Mirage, don't listen to mfs saying that "He doesn't work against good players". I could probably yap a bit about Mirage lmao, glad that they at least did the healthbar thing tho

This and the additional fact that EVERYONE can craft banners regardless of class now is also really good for this. Now maybe pub lobbies will get past ring 3 and ranked quality will improve as well.

That definitely would have made sense for her character being able to slip away and bringing that in the form of support for the team.

I agree that Ashe passive needs work, especially with how the blue evo upgrades are tied to it. I was originally going to talk about these but cut it from the first draft.

I literally have more kills on path than any other character lol. I suggested a SLIGHT nerf to keep him meta but not overtuned. I started playing in 2019…

I think that’s certainly part of it. He would have had a pick rate similar to some other fun mobile legends before he became meta, but he’s also just extremely effective and versatile with his ability to spam ults and scans. This is why his pick rate is so high for preds and pro play. I don’t want pathfinder gutted at all, but a slight nerf is warranted given how he is gapping the whole game.

Considering it further, I think it would be a substantial nerf if it's gated behind purple armor. I think I'd be fine swapping the blue and purple armor upgrades if it was that bad, since I think gating it behind purple would kill him in pro play.

I never played Titanfall but have always heard about it, so I'm excited. I was actually surprised realizing Apex does not have any type of explosive weapon like most games (I guess that weapon is Fuse lol)

I'm explaining the teams that made it and their roster/roster changes, that's what the "explained" is meant to encompass. What I am referring to in this statement is the psychology of a player(s). In this example, a team with relatively lower expectations came out on top in a major tournament. There is a lot of mental decline that can follow if the players do not immediately continue meeting/exceeding expectations. Essentially they can become complacent, underperform, then lose their confidence. The pressure is much higher after becoming a champion. Mental is absurdly important, especially in higher levels of gameplay. It's like snowballing, but in the wrong direction. This is to say, this sort of thing is not uncommon among people in any field after huge success, but especially in competitive environments.

@ it’s just weird them saying they want the game to last 20+ years in the future but pulling moves like bees. I just don’t know I feel like that’s one of the reasons why some people stop playing Apex as well. We used to get a character every season and then it stoppedin season 16 I think a new character brings a lot of people into Apex but since we’re barely getting them now it’s like what’s even the point.

I think both are kinda cracked personally. Better shield eco means you can carry other stuff. Cells will full heal shield on early fights. Cells will be better or equal in effectiveness up until red armors now, meaning you can be more lenient with batteries. You can use cells very effectively in fights with the lower time cost. I think it's crazy for support to get BOTH of these.
