I got water in my hydraulic tank! Doing this drains it completely from all the lines?

This does NOT work. I tested it this way, and there was "too much" so i brought it down to were it was bearly leaking out, and took it for a test drive and it fried my transmission. It was about 4 quarts low. BEWARE!!!

Break the fill plug loose while car is cold, then heat up the car to temp. It makes the job a bit more tolerable. I hate GM engineers for allowing their bean counters to force this into production.

Apparently when I searched it say that’s the drain bolt and the one where the lines come in is the level check I have the 07 v6 same bolts so idk

I pulled the port plug, started car and it pump all transmission fluid out. Wtf?

Just picked up a 2008 Malibu of a lady for 200 bucks everyone telling her same thing trans is bad. Gonna take your advice and pull the pan and take a peek. I also seen something aut a sensor on trans could cause same issue with no go forward just reverse . Hopefully you just saved me a bunch of time in labor.

Same thing has happened to my 2011 Malibu. It’s been at the dealer for 5 weeks took them forever to diagnose it. Now they’re just saying it needs a whole new transmission - new and used would be over $5k! They say the oil is burned and the tranny is too far gone...
