Which photogrammetry program did you use to create such a high res image?! I’ve been so disappointed with Polycam, and this looks amazing.
Helpful thx
I like that this went over some somewhat advanced topics (for newbies) yet still mentioned the keystrokes. A lot of beginner tuts will just say what to do with a presumption of shared knowledge. I like a tut to presume I know nothing more than basic 3D movement.
That was awesome
hi and what should i do if the trim doesnt cut the oject well, it doesnt cut the inside of the extruded object but the body
thank you so much
Abi allah razı olsun amk kırk yıldır bunu arıyodum. cansın
it very nice 😊😊😊😊
Thanks! I think i fixed my issue- I have been sculpting in SculptVR and exporting as .OBJ - but the vertices are coloured instead of having a texture file. Thius was helpful
Thanks for posting your solution!
I know it was 2 years ago but I have a issue with remeshing. As you I used the round cube then after scalling, rotating, and moving I applied all transforms. But after merging both objects and remeshing I got some diamonds on the edges rotated by 45* compared to the other quads. Its quite annoying when lines didnt allign and you have these deformed shapes at the edges
thanks dude, this helps a lot, would you consider doing any more videos on these?
Cette vidéo m’a rendu la vie 20 fois plus facile, merci
Thank you very much....
enjoyed the journey you took us on. learned a couple of new things about vertex painting as well.
bro its too loud
When I double click on an edge, it doesn't do anything except select the one tiny edge I was highlighting....even if I have 30 edges in a straight line. I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I'm on Blender 4.x.
alt + left mouse click on the edge did the job for me
@@havabreak Yes, I have just found that procedure last night after more searching but have yet to try it. Several videos said it didn't work on some later versions, so we will see. Someone suggested that it may have to due w/ triangles vs quads, so I have to look at that as well if it doesn't work for me. Thanks!
@@havabreak It does appear to work, now on to figure out the next thing keeping me from making the complete loop. LOL
To make a clean cut off of unwanted pieces I use the bisect tool which also generates a closed and flat edge loop.
Really cool,thanks!
im the absolute bad at anatomy i can barely make a head
Curses! In my rush to get this recorded I clipped off the bottom of the screen. This isn't much of an issue, but you won't see how I zoom in and out. You do that by grabbing the little circles at either end of the horizontal scroll bar at the bottom of the timeline.
You can lower the samples values in Sampling tab to about 10 (both viewport preview and render) so that way the texture baking takes only a few seconds, not minutes.
for some reason my shader editor didnt have the option of anything related to a vertex
yea nowadays the vertex color node is called color attribute
Thank you so much for this. I have been searching for days trying to figure this type of thing out. Still a blender n00b!
Such a fire tutorial
Excelent video!! especially that the decimate modifier is not connect the texture and that you have to use the geometry decimate in mesh edit mode. Timesaver for me Thanks.
finally, a vieo that can be understanded by my ape brain....
What were the resolutions of the pictures?
👍👍👍💀
Thank you so much!!
good presentation Taylor! thanks for the effort and sharing!
🔥 'Promo SM'
Great tutorial, many thanks for sharing👏👏
ohhhh My God !!! I want to drink a coffee :)), nice video and thanks
salut c'est possible d'envoyer le fichier source stp
thank you. did not need to be 18 minutes; it was simple as smart unwrapping my mesh with the defaults and baking with the settings you suggested. but thank you again
Magazine/newspaper background is a great tip!
Thanks ! We use Masterpiece VR and there we can only paint with Vertex paint. But we want to switch to texture.
At 8:15 , you put the mirror modifier over the subdivision modifier in order to eliminate the "hump". For me, even if I change the positions of the layers, the "hump" still remains. I've deleted and re-added the cube several times, went through exact steps but the hump does not seem to go away. Any thoughts on why that may be happening?
Hmm - Try switching to edit mode and see if you have bunch of narrowly spaced edge loops right next to the mirror axis.
This was very helpfull, i needed my vertex colors from Medium VR to show up in Gravity sketch. Now i just need to apply the texture to object in GS, hopefully it works
If you are using Ipad- I have found the app Nomad is helpful in doing this to create a texture layer from vertice colours
Thanks! Screencast keys would be a good addition to your tutorials.
I'll give them another try - I had problems with screencast keys not always picking up what I was doing.
this was a huge help with my animation homework, thank you
this is a fantastic tutorial, thanks so much. I can for the life of me figure out how you got the images in for reference.... I've tried images as planes but when I switch to wireframe to sculpt, they go blank... making it next to impossible to follow and sculpt :/ any advice is greatly appreciated!
Is there a reason you prefer to sculpt in wireframe? If you want to see your ref photo behind your geometry, I recommend you pick shaded mode and toggle on X-ray (alt Z).
11:20 for everyone who is confused bc they cant find the vertex option in the shader editor: its called color attribute now
thanks
I love you lol
Thanks!!
I love this channel
great tutorial. very helpful
Thank!
Amazing video! I am currently working on a project where I need to model Murray from the Monkey Island series. It's gonna be 3D printed, have a speaker and be able to open and close its mouth when it speaks. But I am absolutely no wiz with sculpting in Blender. This is a great help!
Watched this since I had to make a cartoony skull and modeling wasn't doing it, never sculpted before but this seems fun. Saw it on my recommended, hope you get more views.
Hey, I followed your tutorial and how a decent result to what my skull looks like. However, when I try to add colors to it, the render end up super dark and it feels like it only applies correct in the eye holes areas. Any tips?
Did you follow the steps in this video? th-cam.com/video/QwbkthNkwg4/w-d-xo.html
thanks you
